First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is through His name alone that we find salvation, grace, and the power to overcome every challenge. If you have not yet fully surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). This foundation is essential, as every blessing and breakthrough flows from a life rooted in Him.
Regarding your business, we pray that the Lord will grant you wisdom, favor, and prosperity as you seek to honor Him with your work. Remember the words of Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Your desire to use this business to support your family aligns with the biblical call to provide for your household (1 Timothy 5:8). However, we encourage you to examine your motives daily, ensuring that your trust remains in God rather than in the success of the business itself. *"Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them"* (Psalm 62:10, WEB). May your business be a tool for God’s glory, and may He open doors no man can shut as you walk in integrity and faith.
As for your relationship with your mother and family, we recognize the deep pain and longing for restoration in your words. Family strife is one of the enemy’s greatest tools to bring division, but God is a God of reconciliation. *"Bear with one another, and forgive each other. If any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do"* (Colossians 3:13, WEB). We pray that the Lord will soften your mother’s heart toward you and fill you both with His love, which *"is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails"* (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, WEB).
Yet, we must also gently remind you that reconciliation requires humility and action on your part as well. Have you sought to initiate conversation with your mother in a spirit of gentleness? Have you asked for forgiveness for any wrongs you may have committed, even unintentionally? *"So then, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift"* (Matthew 5:23-24, WEB). Sometimes, the Lord calls us to take the first step, even when it is difficult.
We also encourage you to examine whether there are any ungodly patterns or unresolved sins in your family that may be hindering restoration. Bitterness, unforgiveness, or generational sins can create strongholds, but *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Pray for the Lord to reveal any areas in your own heart that need repentance, and ask Him to break any chains that may be binding your family.
Finally, we want to remind you that God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14, WEB). While you wait, continue to show love and honor to your mother, even if her heart remains hardened for a season. Your obedience to God’s Word—regardless of the outcome—is what pleases Him most.

Fill our brother/sister with Your love—a love that is patient, kind, and selfless—so that they may reflect Christ in every interaction. Give them the words to speak and the wisdom to know when to listen. Break every chain of division in this family, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up their business before You, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would bless the work of their hands. Grant them favor with clients, wisdom in decisions, and integrity in all their dealings. May this business be a testament to Your faithfulness and a tool to provide for their family in a way that brings You glory. Protect them from greed, anxiety, or the temptation to trust in wealth rather than in You. Let every success point back to Your goodness, and every challenge drive them deeper into dependence on You.
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of division, strife, or financial lack that may be at work in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these strongholds to be broken, and we declare that Your will—Your perfect, pleasing, and good will—shall prevail in this family and in this business. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith as they wait on You, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it.
