My daughter left my home after I got divorced and headed out to Texas. She wanted to pursue the music industry in Austin. She packed her car up on 12/26/09 and left. She was going to stay at a college roomate's couch, but when that fell threw she went and roomed with the son of a woman she befriended attending Masters school here in KC.
Red flags have been up ever since I met him and I feel my daughters self esteem is so low, she will go through with this. Everyone has concerns about son and daughters in law, but I have seen some real anger from the short time I have spent with him. His father broke into their home, took a gun and shot himself at the age of 47.
He was an alcoholic, as I have seen the signs of this 'fiance'. He passed out on my sofa on Christmas night at 7:30.
I pray to God that it is not me and my ex that have set up this behavioral pattern in her. And if it is, I pray to take full responsibility for my actions to hopefully address her future.
