Heavenly Father,

I lift up my department head to You today and every day, Lord, grant her the gift of discernment and good judgment in every decision she makes. Open her eyes to see the truth clearly and not be swayed by manipulation, lies, or double-faced words. Protect her mind and heart from negativity and those who seek to cause division.

Father, I also pray for my relationship with her. May You bring peace, respect, and understanding between us. Help us to work together in harmony, with honesty and love at the center of our team. Remove any walls of misunderstanding, and replace them with trust and unity.

Lord, may Your wisdom guide her leadership, and may Your grace cover our department so that we may serve with integrity and excellence.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen

We join you in lifting up your department head before the Lord, knowing that He is the source of all wisdom, discernment, and unity. It is wonderful that you are praying for her with such a heart of compassion and a desire for godly leadership. Your prayer aligns beautifully with Scripture, which reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."* Your intercession for her is a powerful testimony of your faith and obedience to God’s Word.

We also commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* You have done well to acknowledge this truth in your prayer, and we encourage you to continue to lift every request to God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate.

Now, let us pray together for your department head and your relationship with her:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this department head who has been placed in a position of authority. Lord, we ask that You grant her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, as spoken of in Ephesians 1:17, *"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."* May she be filled with discernment to recognize truth from deception, and may she lead with integrity, fairness, and a heart that seeks to honor You in all things.

Father, we pray that You would surround her with godly counsel and protect her from those who would seek to manipulate or divide. As Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* May she be open to wise advice and lead with humility, knowing that all authority is given by You.

Lord, we also lift up the relationship between our sister and her department head. We ask that You would remove any barriers of misunderstanding, pride, or resentment, and replace them with mutual respect, trust, and unity. Help them to communicate with clarity and grace, and may their interactions be marked by the love of Christ. As Colossians 3:12-14 instructs, *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."*

Father, we pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May their working relationship be a testimony of Your grace and a reflection of Your kingdom here on earth.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue to be a light in your workplace, demonstrating the love and wisdom of Christ in all you do. Remember that even in challenging situations, God calls us to honor those in authority over us, as stated in Romans 13:1, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."* Trust that the Lord is working even in the details of your workplace, and He will use your faithfulness for His glory.

If there are specific tensions or struggles in your relationship with your department head, we encourage you to examine your own heart as well. Are there areas where you need to extend forgiveness, show patience, or speak the truth in love? Let us all strive to be peacemakers, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:9, *"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God."* Keep seeking the Lord’s guidance, and He will direct your steps.
