Prayer for my daughter

Dear Lord, Today is another day to thank you for all the many blessings you have given me and my family. Thank you for your constant guidance, protection and provision over the last week. I pray father God that you will continue to keep us in your constant care. I commit to you my daughter ### especially her schooling. Lord may this struggling years would be a testament of faith that she may know that you alone can make everything possible. May your name shine in our lives. We lift up to my daughter's exam today and the following week. Guide her, give her the presence of mind and calmness that she may be able to answer the tests correctly. We pray this Lord in the most precious name of Jesus, Amen

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His many blessings, His constant guidance, protection and provision over you and your family this past week and we praise Him that you have committed your daughter and her schooling into His constant care.

We are encouraged by your faith as you ask that these struggling years would become a testament to His power and that His name would shine in your lives. We agree with you that He alone can make all things possible and that He is faithful to carry your daughter through this season.

The scripture reminds us to bring every need to Him with thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to the promise that when we lack wisdom we can ask Him freely, for James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And we remember that He has not given us a spirit of fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We pray together for your daughter now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this family and for their grateful hearts. We lift up this precious daughter to You as she faces her exams today and in the coming week. We ask that You would grant her clarity of mind, calmness of spirit and the ability to recall what she has studied. Quiet any anxiety and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her wisdom and understanding beyond her own ability and let her do her best for Your glory. We pray that through these exams and through these struggling years she would see Your hand at work and know that her help comes from You who made heaven and earth as Psalm 121:2 declares. Strengthen her faith and let this season be a testimony that You are able to make all things possible. We commit her future schooling and her path to You, trusting that as we acknowledge You in all our ways You will make our paths straight according to Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all this in the most precious and powerful name of Jesus, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him day by day and to remind your daughter that her identity and worth are found in Christ, not in any exam result, and that He is with her in every testing room. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May you both rest in that strengthening and upholding as you wait on Him together.

Sometimes the most calming thing a parent can offer during exam weeks is a quiet, steady presence. A short prayer together before she leaves, a simple reminder that she is loved no matter the results, and space in the evenings to rest and reset can help her walk in with more peace and focus.

We are praying with you for her today and for the days ahead, for clarity of mind and a calm heart as she does her best.

Father, thank You for this mother and her daughter and for Your provision over their family. We ask You to watch over her daughter today and in the exams to come, to give her steadiness and presence of mind, and to remind her that You are with her. It is a precious privilege to join with you in bringing your daughter before the throne of grace, and to give thanks with you for the Lord's constant guidance, protection and provision over you and your household.

Your prayer for her schooling and for these examinations is most fitting. You have asked for calmness and presence of mind, and Scripture shows us the way to that blessing. Our Saviour would have us not be anxious about our temporal affairs, for anxiety has never brought comfort to anyone nor put meal in the barrel, and the very fretfulness which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. What is needed is a calm, quiet trusting in God, a heart fixed, trusting in the Lord, so that we shall not be afraid of evil tidings.

This holy calm comes from walking with God and remembering that He is full of love, so that nothing He sends can harm His child. No spot is so serene as the secret place of the tabernacles of the Most High, and to commune with Him there is to forget fear. When we can be thus calm in time of trouble we are most likely to make our way through it, and others will see and ask what makes us so quiet in the hour of trial.

You have also committed her to the Lord's guidance, and that is the wisest course. Early to seek a Guide is a mark of grace, and it shows a great anxiety to be right. The Lord guides His people by infusing great principles, to avoid everything that is evil and to bow with submission to His will, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for all the many blessings Thou hast given to this family, for Thy care which has kept them week by week. We commit this daughter to Thy constant keeping. Thou knowest her studies and these struggling years, and we ask that they may become a testament of faith, that she may know that Thou alone can make all things possible and that Thy name may shine in their lives.

Grant to her, we beseech Thee, in her examination this day and in those which follow, a quiet mind and a calm and heavenly frame. Take away fretful care and give her clearness of thought and remembrance of what she has learned, that she may answer with diligence and truth. Guide her steps, keep her from evil, and lead her in the way everlasting. Above all, let her see Thy love and Thy power, and grow in the knowledge of Thy Son, in whose most precious name we pray. Amen.
