We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter and her family before our Heavenly Father. Father God, we know that wisdom comes from You alone, and we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding upon this young woman as she studies. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Lord, we claim this promise for her today.
We also pray for her health, Father. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit as she faces the demands of her education. Protect her from illness and fatigue, and give her the energy she needs to persevere. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). May this be her portion, Lord.
For the financial needs of her education, we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Father, open doors of provision—whether through work, scholarships, or unexpected blessings—and remove any anxiety about finances from this family’s hearts. Teach them to trust in You, the ultimate Provider.
Lord, we also ask that You would draw this daughter’s heart closer to You during this season. May her studies not just be about passing exams, but about growing in knowledge that glorifies You. Guard her heart from distractions, fear, or discouragement, and let her find her identity in Christ alone.
Finally, we must address the way this prayer was offered—without the name of Jesus. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this family does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray they would turn to Him in repentance and faith. If they do, we encourage them to pray boldly in His name, for it is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
