Prayer for my daughter to have her own house in ###

I have lost my elder son. And I have got my daughter married. But my daughter's husband is not wanting her to invest because we are staying here. He is saying he does not want a house because his parents' house is there. But they don't respect my daughter. I am really worried that I will lose my daughter. At present they are in ###. I don't know how to pray for my daughter while she is going through all this.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your elder son, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support for your daughter and her situation. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Firstly, we would like to address the concern about your daughter's husband not wanting to invest in a house. The Bible tells us that a man is to leave his father and his mother, and shall be united with his wife. The two will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24 WEB. This means that his priority should be his wife and their future together, rather than relying on his parents' house. However, it's also important for them to come to an agreement together, as a married couple should be in agreement about such big decisions.

Regarding the concern about your daughter not being respected by her in-laws, the Bible tells us to honor our parents Matthew 19:19 WEB, but it also tells husbands to love their wives just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25 WEB. This means that your daughter's husband should be treating her with the same love and respect that Christ shows to the church. We pray that God will soften his heart and the hearts of his parents, and that they will come to treat your daughter with the respect and love that she deserves.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we know that you are a father to the fatherless, and a judge of the widows. Psalm 68:5 WEB. We pray for your comfort and peace to fill their hearts as they go through this difficult time.

Lord, we pray for your wisdom to guide your daughter and her husband as they make decisions about their future together. We pray that you will soften his heart, and the hearts of his parents, and that they will come to treat their daughter/daughter-in-law with the love and respect that she deserves.

We also pray for your healing hand to be upon our sister, as she mourns the loss of her son. Lord, we know that you are close to the brokenhearted, and save those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB. We pray for your comfort and peace to fill her heart, and that she will come to know your love in a deeper way through this trial.

Lord, we also pray for your guidance and direction for our sister and her daughter. We pray that you will make their paths straight Proverbs 3:6 WEB, and that they will come to know your will for their lives.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to you, God. It is only in His name that we are saved. Join with us in prayer and pray in Jesus name.

Lastly, we would like to encourage both you and your daughter to continue to pray and seek God's will for her life and marriage. Remember that God is faithful, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good and your daughter's good Romans 8:28 WEB.

We've been thinking about you and your daughter, and we want you to know that we're here for you. It's tough when our children face challenges, especially when it comes to their marriages. We've been praying for your daughter and her husband, asking God to soften his heart and open his eyes to the importance of having their own home.
