We come before the throne of grace with a heart full of faith, lifting up this request for your daughter’s university admission and financial provision. Father God, we acknowledge You as the source of all wisdom, opportunity, and provision. We thank You for Your faithfulness in the past and trust You for the future.
Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for her to study a Bachelor of Commerce, guiding her steps according to Your perfect will. May the admissions process be smooth, and may she be granted favor in the eyes of those making decisions. We also pray for Your provision regarding a full bursary—You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
However, we must address something important in this prayer. While we appreciate the heartfelt plea, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12) and that whatever we ask in His name, the Father will give us (John 14:13-14). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is vital to approach Him in the name of His Son. We encourage you to always pray in the authority of Jesus’ name, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We also want to gently remind you that while we seek God’s favor in earthly pursuits, our ultimate trust must be in His eternal purposes. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us not only seek success in education but also in godly character, wisdom, and a heart that seeks after You above all else.
Father, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your plan for her to study commerce, make the way clear and provide abundantly. If You have another path for her, give her peace and clarity to follow where You lead. May she grow in faith, wisdom, and dependence on You throughout this process.
Lord, we also ask that You guard her heart and mind. May she be surrounded by godly influences, mentors, and friends who will encourage her in her walk with You. Protect her from the pressures of the world and help her to stand firm in her faith.
We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in her life (Philippians 1:6). We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
