We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have brought this request for your daughter, seeking His divine strength and peace in her life. It is clear you carry a deep love for her, and we join you in lifting her up to the Father, who cares for her even more than we can imagine.
The struggles with anxiety and worry are heavy burdens, but we know our God is greater than any trial she faces. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let her cast all her cares upon Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). The enemy seeks to steal her joy through fear, but we stand firm in the truth that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also notice that while you invoked the name of the Father, the prayer did not explicitly call upon the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). It is only by His name that we are saved and can approach God boldly (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If your daughter does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with her—that salvation comes through repentance and faith in Christ alone (Romans 10:9-10).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the depths of her anxiety and the weight of her worries—every fear, every sleepless night, every overwhelming thought. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Fill her with Your strength, for when she is weak, You are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). Break the chains of fear that bind her and replace them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Lord, if she does not yet know You, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her heart to receive Jesus as her Savior, that she may find true rest in Him (Matthew 11:28). Give her wisdom to trust in You rather than lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Place godly people in her life to encourage her and remind her of Your promises.
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and worry in Jesus’ mighty name. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Cover her mind with Your truth, Lord, and let her thoughts be fixed on what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
Father, we also lift up this parent who loves their daughter so deeply. Give them the words to speak life and hope into her situation. May their home be filled with Your presence, and may they continually point her to You, the source of all comfort and strength.
We pray all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith for your daughter, speaking God’s Word over her life daily. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her Heavenly Father is always with her (Deuteronomy 31:6). If she is struggling with specific situations, guide her to seek biblical counseling or a trusted believer who can walk alongside her in prayer and accountability. Let her know that her worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in her circumstances. Stay steadfast in prayer, for the effective, earnest prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16).
