Prayer for my daughter back pain

Pls pray for my ### year old daughter ### . She has back pain from many months now. May our good Lord touch and heal her completely.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who has been enduring back pain for many months. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every part of her body intimately. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would touch her with Your healing hand and restore her completely. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and healthcare providers attending to her. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments so that they may be instruments of Your healing. If there is any underlying cause that needs to be addressed, reveal it to them, and grant them the knowledge to bring about restoration. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan, knowing that even in suffering, You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain that may be afflicting her. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave her body and declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We speak strength over her bones, muscles, and nerves, that they would align with Your design and function as You intended. May she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also ask that You would draw her closer to You through this trial. May she seek Your face, find comfort in Your presence, and grow in her faith as she learns to trust You more deeply. Surround her with Your love, Lord, and let her feel the prayers of the saints lifting her up. We thank You for hearing our cry, and we believe that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

In Jesus’ powerful and precious name, we pray. Amen.

We’re so glad you reached out, there’s something uniquely heavy about watching your own child suffer, especially when the pain has stayed this long. Months of back pain can wear down a young person’s spirit, and it’s clear your heart is carrying a lot of that weight too.

Even when progress feels slow or invisible, your steady prayer and presence are not wasted. Long-term pain often brings moments of discouragement that are harder to face alone, so one simple but powerful step is to make sure your daughter knows she isn’t carrying it by herself, that she can be honest with you about what really helps or what feels hardest. If you haven’t already, we’d encourage having a doctor look into what’s causing the pain, not instead of prayer but alongside it; sometimes a clear medical picture opens the door to more targeted relief, and we pray alongside whatever practical help comes.

Meanwhile, hold onto this: God is not distant from her body or from your concern. He knows every nerve and muscle, every night she’s tossed and turned, every prayer you’ve already whispered. We’re joining you in bringing her before Him right now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this daughter to You. You see the ache she’s endured for months, touch her back with Your healing power. Bring real, lasting relief, and guide any doctors or therapists with wisdom and insight. Give her mom steady hope and the courage to keep leaning on You. Quiet both their hearts with the peace that only You can give. We ask this in Your name, trusting Your goodness and Your timing. Amen.

It is no small thing to watch your child suffer while you stand by, able to do little more than love her and pray. When the pain lingers month after month, the heart begins to wear thin in places. I have seen plenty of mothers and fathers sitting just where you are now, their thoughts tangled up with the pillow where their dear one lies, counting the days and wondering when the Lord will turn His hand.

But I want you to notice something about our Lord Jesus Christ. When He walked among us, He seemed drawn to the sickroom as a physician is drawn to his patient. He did not wait for the fever to announce itself politely; He went straight into the house where it burned. Peter’s own home had a sick woman in it, his wife’s mother, struck down with a great fever, and yet the Lord did not pass that door. The disease might fill the air, but the Healer filled the house with something stronger. Your daughter’s back pain is not hidden from Him. He knows the mattress where she rests, the chair she cannot sit in long, the small disappointments that gather through the day. And He is the same Christ who bent over that fevered woman and took her by the hand.

Here is a sweet thing to hold fast: when the Lord heals, He heals thoroughly. The Gospels are full of cures, and in nearly every one the person rose and served, or walked home carrying what they could not carry before, or saw their loved ones with eyes that had been dark. Our Savior is not content with half-measures. If He touches your daughter, He will touch her completely. None of those who came to Him went away saying, “He helped me a little, but the trouble remained.” No, the power of the Lord was present to heal them, all of them, the whole affliction, the root and the branch together.

That does not mean we may dictate the timing. Sometimes the Lord lets the illness linger so that the healing will shine all the brighter when it comes, and so that we will never mistake the physician for ourselves or for any earthly remedy. A long trial often makes a deep blessing. I have known saints who were bedridden for years, and out of their sick chambers flowed such grace and wisdom that everyone around them was enriched. Yet even then, the Lord was with them in the fire, and the fire did not consume them. Your daughter’s pain is not a mark of God’s displeasure. The dearest children often feel the rod most keenly, and the sweetest spirits are sometimes housed in the frailest frames.

Let your faith carry her right into the presence of Christ, as those four friends tore open the roof to lower the paralyzed man at His feet. You are doing that now with your prayers, and you may do it with a quiet confidence. Jesus sees the faith of those who bring the sufferer, and He answers with a word of peace before He answers with a healing touch. So do not let your heart grow heavy with the weight of it. Cast that weight on Him. The Shepherd carries the lambs, He does not drive them. He gathers them in His arms and holds them close, and your daughter is one of His lambs.

Perhaps you have felt that if only you could hear Him say, “Your sins are forgiven you; rise up and walk,” all would be well. But remember that forgiveness is already yours in Christ, and healing is already His to give. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and they have not withered. They are still green, still potent, still held out in the hand of the risen Lord. He who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses has not lost His pity nor His power.

So keep looking to Him. Keep speaking His name in the quiet of the night when sleep is far from your daughter and from you. The Lord who touched the hand of Peter’s mother-in-law so that she rose and served them, He will visit your house too. And when that hour comes, the long months of pain will seem but a little thing, swallowed up in the joy of His presence and the wonder of His mercy.

Lord Jesus, we bring this beloved daughter before You. You know every vertebra, every nerve, every place where the ache has worn her down. Lay Your healing hand upon her back, we pray. Speak the word that silences pain and restores strength. Give this parent peace that passes understanding, a deep, unshaken quietness in the midst of the trial. Let them both taste Your faithfulness, and one day soon let them rise together with glad hearts to bear witness to Your goodness. For You are the great Physician, and we trust in You. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious daughter. It has been on our hearts to lift her up before the Lord, asking Him to touch her with His healing hand and bring complete relief from the pain she has endured for so many months. We know how deeply a parent’s heart aches when a child is suffering, and we have prayed that God would not only bring physical healing but also comfort, strength, and peace to both of you during this time.

If the Lord has answered this prayer and your daughter is experiencing His healing touch, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him all the glory. If her pain persists, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede on her behalf. We believe in a God who hears, who cares, and who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His presence, His peace, and His provision as you continue to trust in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
