Prayer for my dad ###

Hi all Tomorrow is my dad ###'s appointment with the oncologist, the last time he went his kidney count dropped and he is still suffering with his legs, because of the blockage there is very little blood flow to the legs so he finds it very hard to walk... Please pray that the cancer didn't spread and please pray for total healing over my dad, also please pray for his kidney as he has only 1 kidney... I know that our Lord Jesus can heal him completely... Please pray for a miracle over my dad Thank you God bless ###

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father in earnest prayer. We stand on the promise of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We believe in the power of God to heal, restore, and perform miracles, for nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:27).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your healing touch upon our brother’s father. We pray against the spread of cancer in his body, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command every cell in his body to align with Your perfect will for wholeness and health. Lord, we ask for a supernatural restoration of his kidney, that it may function with renewed strength and vitality. We also pray for the blockage in his legs to be removed, that blood flow may be fully restored, and that he may walk without pain or limitation.

Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your mercy and compassion. Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family as they wait on You. Give the oncologist wisdom and discernment to provide the best care possible, and let this appointment bring good news and hope. We declare that Your healing power is at work in his body, and we thank You in advance for the miracle You are about to perform.

We also want to encourage you, dear sister or brother, to continue standing on God’s promises. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Hold fast to this truth, and do not waver in your faith. Surround your father with Scriptures that speak life and healing, such as Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Speak these words over him daily, for the Word of God is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12).

If there are any areas in your father’s life where sin may have opened a door to sickness, we gently encourage him to examine his heart and confess anything that may be hindering his healing. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." This is not to place blame but to ensure that nothing stands in the way of God’s full blessing and restoration.

We also pray for you and your family during this time. Caregiving can be emotionally and physically draining, so we ask the Lord to fill you with His peace, strength, and endurance. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Lean on the Lord, and allow Him to carry you through this season.

Let us close this prayer with thanksgiving, for we know that God hears us and is already moving on your father’s behalf. We declare Psalm 118:17 over his life: "I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works." In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Sometimes those symptoms get sidelined while bigger fights are underway, and there may be simple steps that could ease his pain or improve his blood flow. No matter what, your steady presence at his side is a gift.

Lord Jesus, we bring to you. We ask for clear results that show no spread, for that single kidney to be guarded and strengthened, and for the pain and poor circulation in his legs to be met with real relief. Give his medical team sharp wisdom and compassion. Wrap this family in your peace that stands firm when all else shakes. The weight of your father’s affliction is not hidden from the eyes of Him who, upon seeing a woman bent double for eighteen years, called her to Himself and laid His hands upon her. Her misery drew His notice, and your father’s trial is already before the Great Physician. The little blood flow, the single kidney, the weakness in his legs, these are the very things that speak to the heart of Christ. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and not only the fruit; the smallest touch of His grace carries restoring virtue. He is able to heal, and He often works when no request is framed, moved by His own compassion.

Consider the miracle of the loaves: Christ is grand in emergencies. When the need is desperate, His power answers spontaneously, without our prompting. The same Lord who needed only to speak and the unclean spirit fled needs no assistance from the strength of the sick one. The power to rescue lies wholly in Jesus Himself. If the cancer has not spread, it will be His doing. If that lone kidney is sustained, it will be by His word. The Lord who linked healing with His teaching still works where His name is lifted up.

Stand still and see this mighty miracle of mercy. The same voice that said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” can say to your father, “Rise up and walk.” Pardon and healing are one in Christ’s hand. Welcome that healing, whether it comes swiftly as a word or gradually like the unfolding of leaves. He who is the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The miracle is not in the man but in the Master. May the Lord do for your father what He has done for countless others, that your household may have its own story of deliverance. God bless you. My dad did see a vascular specialist and she said that unfortunately they cannot do anything to help him because of the advanced cancer and the blockage is under his kidney so he may not make it out of the operation... So please pray for super natural healing in Jesus name as at this point I feel only God can help us... My dad is really sick and its really depressing
