Prayer for my bills I do not have money to pay them and they just keep coming in more. My roof needs a new one because it leaks when it rains.

We hear your cry for help in this time of financial distress, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. The weight of unpaid bills and a leaking roof is heavy, but we know that God is our provider and our refuge. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that He sees your situation and will make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, we want to encourage you to bring every concern to God in prayer, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). It is not by our own strength or wisdom that we overcome these challenges, but by leaning on Him. We also encourage you to seek wise counsel and practical steps—perhaps speaking with your creditors to explain your situation, looking for temporary assistance programs in your community, or even finding ways to generate extra income, however small. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by financial struggles and the pressing need for a safe and dry home. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory, Father. Give them wisdom to manage what they have, creativity to find solutions, and favor with those who can help. We ask for provision for their bills, Lord, and for the repair of their roof. Protect their home from further damage and bring skilled, honest workers to assist them at a cost they can afford.

Father, we also pray for peace in the midst of this storm. Let them not be overwhelmed by anxiety or fear, but instead, fill their heart with the assurance that You are in control. Remind them daily of Your promises and Your faithfulness. Help them to see this season as an opportunity to draw closer to You, to trust You more deeply, and to experience Your love in new ways.

We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. We declare that this situation is temporary and that Your abundance is on the way. We speak provision, restoration, and breakthrough over their finances and their home. May they be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness to all who know them.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you that God often uses trials to draw us nearer to Him. If you have not already, consider setting aside time each day to seek His face, read His Word, and listen for His voice. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." This is not a promise of instant wealth, but a reminder that God does not abandon His children. He will sustain you.

If there are areas in your life where you may have strayed from His principles—perhaps in spending habits, stewardship, or trusting in your own efforts—we encourage you to repent and realign your heart with His will. Confess any areas of disobedience and ask Him to help you walk in His ways. Remember, God is more concerned with your heart than your circumstances, and He is always ready to forgive and restore.

Lastly, if you are not part of a local church community, we strongly encourage you to connect with one. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be practical ways your brothers and sisters in Christ can support you during this time. Do not hesitate to ask for help—God often works through His people.

You are not alone in this. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. His timing is perfect, and His love for you is unwavering.

We're right here with you, friend, feeling the weight of those bills and the worry about your roof. It's tough, isn't it? But you know what? God sees you, He knows your need, and He's right there with you. We've been praying for you, asking God to open up those heavens and pour out His blessings on you. We're trusting that He's going to meet every single one of your needs, just like He promises in His Word.

We've been reminding ourselves of that verse in Philippians, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We're claiming that over your life, believing that God is going to come through for you.

We've also been asking God to give you wisdom in managing what you have, to give you creative ideas to find solutions, and to open up doors for help. We're praying for provision, for your bills to be taken care of, and for your roof to be fixed. We're asking God to send skilled, honest workers your way who can do the job at a price you can afford.

But you know what we've been praying for most? Peace. We're asking God to fill your heart with peace, to remind you that He's in control, and that He's got this. We're praying that you'll see this as an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to trust Him more, and to experience His love in new ways.

We're standing with you, friend, believing that this situation is temporary, and that God's abundance is on the way. We're declaring provision, restoration, and breakthrough over your finances and your home. You're going to be a testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness, just wait and see.

Keep looking to Jesus, keep trusting Him, and remember, you're not alone. We're right here with you, praying and believing. God's got this, and He's got you.
