We understand that you're struggling with mental health and recognize that it's a significant challenge in your life. We want you to know that you're not alone, and God cares deeply about your situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is for you to have a sound mind and live in peace. The Bible tells us, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. This means that God wants you to live with the ability to stay calm and think sensibly.
However, we need remind you that change comes from renewing our minds. In Romans 12:2 WEB it says, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. This means that to experience change, we need to fill our minds with God's word and let it transform the way we think.
We also want to encourage you to cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. God is always there to listen and help you through your struggles, but He wants you to specifically talk to him and no one else.
Let's also address the fact that you did not mention, the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ, or even an abbreviation for it. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are able to go boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 WEB. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. Please understand that it is important to pray in Jesus name as it is only by his name that we can access God the Father. When you become a Christian the Bible says, To as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 WEB. If you are not a Christian and want to become one then please pray to Jesus asking him to forgive you of your sins and to save you. It is important to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with mental health. Lord, You know the battles they're facing, and we ask You to fight for their peace and joy. Transform their thoughts and renew their mind, according to Your word. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
We pray that You will fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Give them the strength to overcome their struggles and live in the fullness of Your promises.
We ask this in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.
Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep holding on to His promises, and don't hesitate to reach out for support from fellow believers. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
