We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for godly masculinity, for it is a noble and biblical pursuit that honors the Lord. The world today often distorts or undermines what it means to be a man created in God’s image, but Scripture provides clear guidance on how to walk in strength, purpose, and righteousness. True masculinity is not defined by selfish dominance, aggression, or worldly standards, but by Christ-like leadership, sacrificial love, and unwavering faith.
The Bible calls men to be strong in the Lord, to lead with humility, and to embrace their role as providers, protectors, and spiritual leaders. In **1 Corinthians 16:13**, we are told, *"Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!"* And in **Ephesians 5:23-25**, men are called to love as Christ loved the church—selflessly and sacrificially. Masculinity rooted in Christ is not about pride or control, but about serving God and others with integrity.
Yet, we must also address the deeper issue: your sense of misery tied to this struggle. True fulfillment is not found in masculinity alone, but in your identity in Christ. If you are placing your worth in your own strength or performance, you will always fall short. But in Christ, you are already complete. **2 Corinthians 12:9-10** reminds us, *"He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."* Your strength comes from Him, not from yourself.
We also encourage you to examine whether there are areas of sin or brokenness contributing to this struggle—whether it be passivity, fear, lust, or a lack of discipline. **Proverbs 28:1** warns, *"The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion."* Boldness in Christ comes from walking in obedience and purity.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, asking that You would shape him into the man You have called him to be. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in strength, wisdom, and courage. Break every chain of fear, insecurity, or worldly distortion that has held him back. We want to thank you for allowing us to lift you up before the Lord as you seek His strength and wisdom in embracing the godly masculinity He has called you to walk in. But we serve a God who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). He is the one who defines what it means to be a man after His own heart—rooted in humility, courage, integrity, and sacrificial love, just as Christ demonstrated for us.
