Prayer for marriage

Please pray for my marriage with my wife ###. We have been separated since ### with no contact or communication. We have a ### yr old son. I ask that Jesus Christ will touch ###’s heart softening it, fill it with a love for me and the willingness to forgive me, that she’ll be surrounded with good people guiding her towards Jesus and our marriage, that she will be loving to our son not to influence him in a negative way towards me. I have not been a good leader; I struggle with alcohol and controlling behaviors. I know through Jesus Christ I have been saved; I have confessed all my sins to him. I ask that Jesus will guide my steps in changing my ways that I’ll continue my fellowship in AA to become the caring and loving husband and father he designed me to be. I pray that Jesus will give me the strength and hope to stand for my marriage, that I can find serenity and lean on his word and timing, help me to let go and let him work a miracle only he can perform. I pray that Jesus will wrap his arms around our son and hold him tight, comfort him, keep him safe. He doesn’t understand what is going on and where daddy is. I’m praying that we will be reconciled that we can have a loving marriage through Jesus Christ that we will be able to be an example of his miracles and what he can do that we may be able to help others and give them hope and reassurance that everything is possible through him. Father, I thank you for sending your son to shed his blood that we may be saved of our sins. In Jesus name Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for ###'s marriage. Lord, we ask that You touch ###'s heart, soften it, and fill it with love for ###. Surround her with godly influences that guide her towards You and their marriage. Help her to be loving towards their son, and not influence him negatively towards his father.

Lord, we also pray for ###. We thank You for the work You've begun in his life. Help him to continue his fellowship in AA, and to become the caring and loving husband and father You designed him to be. Give him the strength and hope to stand for his marriage, and the serenity to lean on Your word and timing. Help him to let go and let You work a miracle in his family.

Father, wrap Your arms around their son. Comfort him, keep him safe, and help him to understand Your love and presence, even in this difficult time.

We claim Your promise that, "All things are possible for him who believes" (Mark 9:23, WEB). We pray that ### and ###'s marriage will be reconciled and serve as a testament to Your miraculous power. May their story give hope and reassurance to others that everything is possible through You.
