Disciple of Prayer

I want prayer and if be the Good Lord's will he will do what is best. Just a phone call or text will be so nice . I am on a journey with Christ and I love it . Robert has all the qualities I want in a man. Relationship with God kind smart loves his family so many good attributes.. I.want a closer walk with God I want to talk to him today pease Father God. I pray for patience faith Lord. I believe help my unbelief. In the Worthy name of Jesus.

We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, seeking His perfect will in this matter. It is clear that your heart is drawn to ###, and you see many admirable qualities in him—qualities that reflect godly character. We praise God for the journey you are on with Christ, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him first in all things, including this desire for love and companionship. As it is written in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your longing for a closer walk with God is beautiful, and we pray that He deepens your faith and fills you with His peace as you wait upon Him.

However, we must gently but firmly address something important. While your prayer acknowledges God’s will, there is a subtle danger in fixating on a specific person—especially one from your past—rather than trusting God to bring the right spouse into your life in His timing. The Bible warns us in **Proverbs 3:5-6**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is not wrong to admire godly qualities in someone, but we must be careful not to idolize a person or a potential relationship, placing our hope in them rather than in Christ alone.

We also notice that you mention wanting a "phone call or text" from ###, which reveals a longing for his attention. While this is understandable, we must ask: Is your heart truly at peace, or is there a restlessness in waiting? **Psalm 37:7** reminds us, *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."* If this desire is causing anxiety or distraction from your walk with God, it may be time to surrender it fully to Him, trusting that if ### is the one God has for you, He will make it clear in His perfect timing.

Additionally, we must consider whether this connection aligns with God’s design for marriage. You mention that ### has a relationship with God, which is wonderful, but we do not know the state of his heart or his current walk with the Lord. If he is not actively seeking a spouse in a way that honors God—through intentional, godly courtship leading to marriage—then pursuing him could lead to emotional entanglement outside of God’s will. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Even if ### is a believer, if he is not pursuing you in a way that honors Christ, it may not be wise to revisit this connection.

Lastly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Your faith in Him is evident, and we pray that it grows even stronger as you seek His will above your own desires.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who longs for love and companionship. Lord, we thank You for her heart that seeks You first and for her desire to walk closely with You. We ask that You guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, protecting her from any emotional attachment that is not of You. If ### is the man You have prepared for her, we pray that You would make it undeniably clear to both of them, bringing them together in a way that honors You—through godly courtship leading to a Christ-centered marriage. But if he is not, we ask that You remove this desire from her heart and replace it with a deep trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of longing or impatience that would draw her away from Your peace. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her the patience and faith to wait on You. Help her to find her fulfillment in You alone, knowing that You are the one who satisfies the deepest longings of her heart. **Psalm 37:4** says, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* May her greatest delight be in You, and may You align the desires of her heart with Your will.

We pray for ### as well, Lord. If he is not walking closely with You, we ask that You draw him back to Yourself. If he is not the one for our sister, we pray that You would close that door gently but firmly, redirecting her attention to the man You have prepared for her—a man who will love her as Christ loves the church, who will lead her spiritually, and who will cherish her as Your precious daughter.

Finally, Father, we ask that You deepen her relationship with You during this season of waiting. May she grow in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Remind her that You are her first love, her provider, and her protector. In the mighty and worthy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Our sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. If this desire for ### is causing you more distress than peace, it may be wise to fast and pray, asking God to realign your heart with His. Surround yourself with godly counsel—perhaps a trusted pastor or mentor who can pray with you and offer wisdom. And remember, God’s timing is perfect. He has not forgotten you, and He will fulfill His promises in your life. Stay steadfast in faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. **Romans 8:28** assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has prepared for you.

We're right there with you, sister, praying for your heart's desire. It's clear that you have a deep respect and admiration for ###, and we understand the longing for companionship. But let's remember, as we've been reminded, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We've been praying for patience and faith, and we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face. Let's surrender this desire to Him, asking Him to remove any restlessness or anxiety we might feel, and replace it with His perfect peace. Let's trust that if ### is the one God has for you, He will make it undeniably clear in His perfect timing.

In the meantime, let's focus on growing in our relationship with Christ. Let's delight ourselves in Him, and He will give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4). Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, knowing that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

We're here for you, sister, praying with you and for you. Let's keep seeking God's will together, trusting that He has a perfect plan for your life.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heart before the Father in prayer these past days. Your tender honesty and desire for both love and a deeper walk with Christ have moved us, and we have continued to seek God’s will for your life—especially regarding Robert and the longing you’ve carried for so long. It’s clear how much you care for him, and even more, how much you want your heart to align with God’s perfect plan, whether that includes reconciliation or a new path forward.

We’ve been praying for clarity, peace, and divine timing—for God to either restore what was lost or redirect your steps toward His best. We’ve also asked the Lord to strengthen your faith, just as you’ve requested, and to fill any silence with His presence so you feel His nearness even while you wait. Your journey with Christ is precious, and we’re cheering you on as you seek Him first in this season.

If Robert has reached out or if God has moved in this situation, we’d love to rejoice with you! A praise report would bless us all and remind us of His faithfulness. But if you’re still waiting, still wrestling with unanswered longing, we want you to know we’re here to keep standing with you. You can share this request again, and we’ll continue to pray with the same fervor—for God’s will to be clear, for your heart to be guarded, and for His love to satisfy you in ways no human relationship ever could.

No matter what comes next, we’re trusting that God is working, even in the quiet. May He draw you closer to Himself, deepen your trust, and give you the patience to rest in His timing. We’re praying for you, sister, and we believe He hears.

In Jesus’ name.
