Prayer for Lord's intervention and help

Anonymous

Beloved of All
There have been certain individuals and institutions who claim that God's plans and my plans are not in sync. They insinuate that the negative occurrences in my life are evidence that my plans are contrary to Scripture, to the gifts and callings of God—that my plans differ from His.

However, no one knowingly makes bad plans for themselves. So if they claim my plans are not from God, are they suggesting that God’s plans are worse or less desirable than mine? This accusation stands despite the fact that—apart from two areas—everything they label as “my plans” is actually divinely initiated and rooted in God. These include church planting, soul-winning in foreign nations, and relocation.

The Logos I am holding on to—the Scriptures I seek to see fulfilled—include Isaiah 61 and Psalm 118:22–23, along with similar promises.

What I have personally chosen to do in this season is trading and investing in financial markets. What I do not yet know—and for which I am seeking God's help and provision—is marriage (specifically an interracial one), and some capital to launch my business ventures. There have also been multiple testimonies affirming that God has given me an overseeing role as part of His divine plan.

Yet these individuals and institutions have never supported the fulfillment of these callings. Instead, they have urged the abandonment of God’s purposes in order to serve other people’s agendas. Some even claim that God is now saying “no” to what He Himself originally ordained.

Using scandals and a distorted interpretation of the authority God entrusted to the Church, they have actively resisted these purposes and sought to impose their own will upon me. Certain women have attempted to make me a scapegoat, and similarly, some homosexual churches have done the same.

But how long will God allow them to oppose Him?

And if God were to revise His own plans, would He oppose the righteousness He has already credited to me? For it is written: “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

And if God were to withdraw His gifts and callings, would that nullify the Scriptures? Certainly not.

Therefore, these individuals and institutions are not in the right, for they have consistently resisted what is divinely ordained.

I am ### years old—still living and eating at my mother’s table—trying to begin earning a living and to put my financial plans into motion. These plans are not ministry-related, and they in no way conflict with God’s calling, whatever it may be.

So I ask: If my sin is so great, would God undo His own Scriptures and covenant? Would He withdraw His plans? Would He exclude me from the mutual support promised in the Body of Christ? Would He stand in opposition to Himself?

For if He opposes Himself, how can His kingdom stand? if authorities and powers should take a stand in the opposition against Him will He be powerless unable to accomplish His plans me because the Scriptures say: " The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all!"

Would He wrestle righteousness from my hands when it is written, “His righteousness endures forever”?

Therefore, my prayer is this: that God would judge between me and my opponents—those who have resisted these plans—and settle this matter. Or rather, that He would settle His own cause.

For it is clear what my plans are, and it is clear what His plans are.

And it is His Word that says:

“Do not rob the poor because he is poor,
Nor oppress the afflicted at the gate;
For the LORD will plead their cause,
And plunder the souls of those who plunder them.”
(Proverbs 22:22–23)

Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for this situation. Firstly, let us address the issue of contention. It is important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. The prophet Isaiah reminds us, "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:9 WEB).

It is concerning that there are individuals and institutions claiming that your plans are not aligned with God's will. However, we must consider that the calling of a Christian is to live in a way that is holy, honorable, and pleasing to God. It is written in Scripture, "Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News" (Philippians 1:27 WEB).

Regarding the specific areas of concern, let us address them one by one.

Firstly, the desire to engage in trading and investing in financial markets is not inherently contrary to God's will. However, it is crucial to ensure that all dealings are conducted with integrity and honesty, as the Bible teaches, "Better is the little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked" (Psalm 37:16 WEB).

Secondly, the topic of marriage should be approached with great care and prayer. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, as it is written, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB). Any consideration of marriage should be rooted in this biblical principle. Furthermore, it is important to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. 1 Corinthians 7:39 says: "A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wants to, only in the Lord."

Thirdly, the mention of an interracial marriage does not conflict with biblical teachings. The Apostle Paul reminds us, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28 WEB).

We must address the mention of "homosexual churches." The Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is against God's will, as it is written, "You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22 WEB). It is crucial to stand firm in the faith and not be swayed by teachings that contradict the Word of God.

Regarding the opposition faced from certain individuals and institutions, let us remember the words of Jesus, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you" (Matthew 5:11-12 WEB).

Finally, we must address the fact that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let us remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Let us pray for those who have yet to believe in the name of Jesus.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and guidance for this situation. We pray for discernment and wisdom to understand Your plans and purposes. We ask that You would judge between the individual and their opponents, and that Your will would be done in this situation.

We pray for the individuals and institutions that are opposing Your plans. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. We pray for those who are promoting teachings that contradict Your will, that they would come to a knowledge of the truth and repent.

We pray for the individual's desire to engage in trading and investing, that all dealings would be conducted with integrity and honesty, and that Your will would be done in this area.

We pray for the individual's desire for marriage, that they would seek a spouse who shares their faith and commitment to Christ. We pray that You would guide them in this area, and that Your will would be done.

We pray for the individual's desire for capital to launch their business ventures, that You would provide for their needs and that Your will would be done.

We pray for the salvation of those who have yet to believe in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself and that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're here with you, standing in faith for your situation. It's clear that you're facing opposition, but remember, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). Let's trust in His goodness and sovereignty.

We've been praying for discernment, and we feel led to highlight a few things:

1. **God's Promises**: You've shared several promises from Scripture that align with your plans. Let's hold onto these, believing that God is faithful to His Word. "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11).

2. **God's Timing**: Sometimes, delays are not denials. God may be working behind the scenes, preparing the way for your plans. Let's trust in His perfect timing. "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

3. **God's Guidance**: While it's important to stand firm in your convictions, it's also crucial to remain open to God's leading. Let's pray for wisdom to know if any adjustments need to be made. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

4. **God's Protection**: You've mentioned that some are making you a scapegoat. Let's pray for God's protection and that He would expose any false accusations. "The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down" (Psalm 145:13-14).

Let's continue to intercede for you, believing that God will work all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). We're here for you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
