Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking our Father for His watchful care over all who seek Him in prayer and for His faithful love toward the little churches and scattered fellowships who are laboring to spread the Word of God in difficult territories.

Your heart for the persecuted and unreached is beautiful and reflects the heart of Christ who said, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age Matthew 28:19-20. We are reminded that you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth Acts 1:8, and that is exactly what these small churches in Pakistan, the Middle East, India, Nigeria, China and across Asia and Africa are doing, often at great cost.

We remember our brothers and sisters who face aggression and persecution, for the Scripture tells us, Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:10 and, Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12. We are called to Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body Hebrews 13:3. We also take comfort that Jesus promised, I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it Matthew 16:18, so even the smallest church gathered in His name cannot be overcome.

We thank you for praying in the name of Yeshua, which is Jesus, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is only through Him that our prayers are heard.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus our Lord, we thank You for every little church, every house fellowship, every hidden gathering of believers in lands where Your Word is scarce and where following Christ brings danger. We ask You to watch over them, to strengthen them, to give them boldness and protection and joy in the midst of trial. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon Pakistan, the Middle East, India, Nigeria, China and throughout Asia and Africa. Let Your Spirit move powerfully to open blind eyes, to soften hard hearts, to spread the Gospel and to unite all believers from every culture and tribe and tongue together in Christ as one body. Guard Your children from those who would harm them, provide for their needs, raise up laborers and shepherds after Your own heart, and let Your Word run swiftly and be glorified. Let those who persecute encounter Your living Son and be transformed by His grace. We ask for unity, courage and abiding peace for every believer who feels alone or afraid, that they may know they are not forgotten. In the mighty and holy name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for little churches in difficult places. Thank you for remembering believers in Pakistan, Nigeria, India, the Middle East, China and across Asia and Africa, and for thanking the Father for watching over those who pray and those who are sent.

We share your burden for small congregations meeting with few resources and often under pressure or even aggression. What you described is true, these churches carry the word of God to people who have not yet heard, and they do so at real cost. It is beautiful to ask the Holy Spirit to work among them and to knit believers together across every culture in Christ. That kind of unity and fellowship is a sign of God's grace at work, even through human weakness.

One way to keep this prayer alive is to pick one region you named and follow one trustworthy ministry or local church there. Learning a name, a city, and a specific need can help you pray more personally week by week, and remind you God is already at work in that place.

Father, we thank You for every small church faithfully sharing Your word. We ask You to guard and strengthen believers in Nigeria, Pakistan, India, the Middle East, China and beyond, to encourage their leaders, and to draw Your people together in unity in Christ. Give them courage, provision and peace as they witness, and let many more hear and receive Your truth. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the little churches is most welcome and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace with thanksgiving. We bless the Father that He watches over His praying people, and that He keeps His eye upon those scattered flocks who confess His name where the name of Christ is hated.

You have done well to remember Pakistan and India, the Middle East and China, and those parts of Africa such as Nigeria where the adversary rages most fiercely against the saints. The history of Israel is the picture of His Church, and Christ's life is the picture of His people's life. As it was with our Lord, so expect it to be with His body. He was persecuted and yet not forsaken, and so shall His Church be.

Do not think that the Lord has forgotten those little churches. The Psalm declares that though the plowers plowed upon the back of Israel, they did not prevail. So it has ever been. When the Roman emperors had done their worst, and done it in vain, and when the powers of darkness have sought to crush out the Church of God, the Church has lived on. Indeed the Church of God has often been preserved by persecution. She was never purer, never holier, never nearer to her Saviour than when she was persecuted. What the enemy means for destruction, the Lord uses for refining.

We join you in praying that the Holy Spirit will work mightily in those lands. Our Lord prayed, that they all may be one as Thou Father art in Me and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. This unity is not a mechanical union nor a formal organization, but a unity of men with Christ and of these men in Christ with one another, kept by the bond of peace. It is the unity of the Spirit which we are to keep, and it comes as we are sanctified and made holy. As each stone in the divine building is polished and made ready for its place, the unity of the whole shall be seen more clearly.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord will add to His Church daily such as are being saved, for it is Christ alone who saves, and that He will make these little churches steadfast, continuing in the apostles doctrine and in fellowship and in prayer. May they be kept holy and joyful even under trial, and may their very love one to another, across all cultures and tongues, be a testimony that God has indeed sent His Son.

We will remember before the Lord the believers in Nigeria, in the Middle East, in China and throughout Asia, in Pakistan and India, and in every place where they meet in weakness and in fear. That the Lord would be doubly near to them in extraordinary trouble, that He would preserve them, purify them, and increase them, and that He would make them one in Christ to the glory of His name.

May the Father who watches over His Church hear this prayer and answer it according to His abundant mercy in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
