Prayer for kids
We understand your concern as a parent, and we want to assure you that you are not alone in your worries. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. Let's pray together for your son and seek God's will for his life.
Firstly, let's remember that God knows your son even before he was born, as it is written in Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. We can trust that God has a special purpose for your son's life.
In light of your son's frequent falls and injuries, let's pray for God's healing and protection over him. As it is written in Psalm 91:10-12, no evil will befall you, neither will any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
Moreover, let's pray for your son's growth and strength, trusting that God is able to provide for his physical needs. As it is written in Ephesians 3:20, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Let's also remember that God is sovereign over all things, and His ways are higher than our ways. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Lastly, let's pray that your son will grow to know and love Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
