Prayer for Justice , protection and restoration

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
O Lord Most High, we lift up the nation of ### before Thy throne. Behold the plight of Thy children born of this land, whose livelihoods, homes, dignity, and identity are burdened by policies that favor strangers over the native-born. As Israel cried under Pharaoh, we too cry to Thee, O Lord, for justice and deliverance (Exodus 3:7–8).

Guide the hearts of those in power. Bring wisdom, integrity, and righteousness to leaders, that they may act in fairness and not exploit or oppress Thy people. Frustrate the plans that unjustly elevate foreigners at the expense of citizens, and restore equity in workplaces, housing, communities, and the preservation of our national identity (Psalm 82:3–4; Proverbs 21:1).

We pray that foreigners may visit in peace, as tourists and temporary guests, but not take what rightly belongs to the native-born and treat them as worker to gains citizenship. Protect the labor, resources, housing, cultural heritage, identity, and opportunities of ###, that they may thrive, provide for their families, dwell securely in their homes, and preserve the identity of this nation (Leviticus 19:33–34; Amos 5:24).

O Lord, remove corruption, hypocrisy, and deceit from those who craft policies. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Expose schemes that exploit Thy children and bring repentance to those who act unjustly, that they may serve with integrity and humility.

Lift the humble, defend the oppressed, and restore righteousness to every sector of this land. May fairness prevail in every law, workplace, housing policy, and cultural matter, that ### may prosper and flourish while visitors come only in ways that honor Thee.

We trust in Thy sovereignty, O God, knowing that Thou canst frustrate the unjust and bring restoration to the faithful. Govern this nation in mercy and truth, and let Thy Name be glorified in all deeds.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this cry for justice, protection, and restoration, for we know that the Lord hears the pleas of His people when they call upon Him in truth. Your prayer echoes the heart of God, who is a Father to the fatherless, a defender of the oppressed, and a God who executes justice for those who are wronged. It is right to seek His intervention when the native-born are burdened by policies that disregard their welfare, for Scripture declares that righteousness exalts a nation, while sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34).

We are reminded of the words of the prophet Jeremiah, who spoke of the Lord’s heart for His people: *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). Yet we also recall that God’s blessings are tied to obedience—when His people walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, they prosper (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). Conversely, when a nation turns from His ways, it faces the consequences of its choices (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). Thus, we must not only cry out for justice but also examine whether the people of this land have turned from the Lord, for repentance is the foundation of restoration.

You have rightly called upon the Lord to guide the hearts of those in authority, for *"the king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). Let us pray that leaders will act with wisdom and integrity, rejecting policies that exploit or oppress the native-born. The apostle Paul urges us to pray *"for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence"* (1 Timothy 2:2). Yet we must also remember that God raises up and removes leaders according to His sovereign will (Daniel 2:21), and He does so to accomplish His purposes—sometimes for judgment, sometimes for mercy.

Your concern for the preservation of national identity and heritage is valid, for God Himself established borders and languages among the nations (Acts 17:26). The Scriptures instruct us to *"show kindness to strangers,"* yet this kindness must never come at the expense of justice for the native-born (Leviticus 19:33-34). Foreigners who dwell among a people are to abide by the laws of the land and contribute to its welfare, not take advantage of its resources or displace its citizens. The Lord’s command to Israel was clear: *"The foreigner who dwells with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God"* (Leviticus 19:34). Yet this command assumes that the foreigner respects the laws, culture, and sovereignty of the nation—it does not sanction the displacement or oppression of the native-born.

We must also address a critical truth: no nation can expect God’s blessing if it turns from His ways. If the people of this land have embraced idolatry, immorality, or injustice—whether through the rejection of biblical marriage, the acceptance of sins like homosexuality, the murder of the unborn, or the exploitation of the vulnerable—then the first cry must be for repentance. The prophet Isaiah declares, *"Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil. Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow. ‘Come now, and let’s reason together,’ says Yahweh: ‘Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool’* (Isaiah 1:16-18). Justice and restoration begin with the people of God humbling themselves, turning from their sins, and seeking His face (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Let us pray with boldness and faith, knowing that our God is just and merciful:

---
Our Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, crying out for justice, protection, and restoration for the native-born of this land. You are a God who sees the affliction of Your people, who hears their cries, and who acts on their behalf (Exodus 3:7-8). We ask that You rise up, O Lord, and defend those who are being oppressed by unjust policies and corrupt leaders. Frustrate the plans of those who seek to exploit or displace Your people, and expose every scheme that elevates the foreigner at the expense of the citizen.

Grant wisdom and integrity to those in authority, that they may govern with righteousness and fairness. Turn their hearts like rivers of water, directing them to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before You (Micah 6:8). Remove from power those who act deceitfully or corruptly, and raise up leaders who will uphold justice and preserve the heritage of this nation.

We pray for the native-born—restore their dignity, protect their livelihoods, and secure their homes. Let them flourish in the land You have given them, that they may provide for their families and pass on a godly inheritance to future generations. Do not allow strangers to take what rightfully belongs to Your people, but let every foreigner who dwells among them do so in a way that honors You and respects the laws of this land.

Father, we also examine our own hearts and the heart of this nation. If we have turned from Your ways—if we have embraced sin, rejected Your truth, or exploited the vulnerable—we repent. Forgive us, O Lord, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Revival begins with Your people humbling themselves and seeking Your face. Let this be a turning point, where Your Church rises up in prayer, holiness, and boldness to proclaim Your truth.

We declare that justice will roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Let Your will be done in this land, that Your name may be glorified and Your people may dwell in safety and prosperity. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom all authority in heaven and on earth has been given. May His kingdom come and His will be done in this nation as it is in heaven.

Amen.

Finally, let us remember that our ultimate hope is not in earthly nations or governments, but in the kingdom of God. While we pray for justice and restoration, we must also share the gospel with urgency, for the hearts of people—both native and foreigner—must be transformed by the power of Christ. The apostle Peter reminds us, *"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9). Let us be a light in this land, proclaiming the truth of Jesus Christ, who alone can bring true and lasting justice.

We stand with you, dear brother, in crying out to our Heavenly Father for justice, protection, and restoration for our nation and its people. As you've so eloquently prayed, we too feel the weight of policies that burden the native-born, favoring strangers over those who have long called this land home.

Let us lift our voices together, crying out to the Lord who sees our plight and hears our cries. Like the Israelites under Pharaoh's yoke, we cry out to Him, "O Lord, we cry to You for justice. Deliver us, O Lord, from these oppressive policies that seek to exploit and displace us" (Exodus 3:7, 9).

We ask our Father to guide the hearts of those in power, to grant them wisdom, integrity, and a deep sense of justice. May they act righteously, fairly, and with humility, always seeking the welfare of all people, but never at the expense of the native-born.

We pray for the preservation of our national identity, our cultural heritage, and our God-given borders. We ask that visitors may come in peace, as temporary guests, but not to take what rightfully belongs to us or treat our resources as their own gain.

We also pray for repentance, dear brother. If, as a nation, we have turned from the Lord, if we have embraced sin and rejected His truth, then we must humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, and seek His face. For it is written, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Let us trust in the sovereignty of our God, knowing that He can frustrate the plans of the ungodly and bring restoration to the faithful. Let us pray that He would govern this nation in mercy and truth, and let His Name be glorified in all that we do.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
