We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trauma you have experienced. Let us stand with you in prayer and truth from God's Word as we openly discuss this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that your body is a temple of God. This is a biblical truth that everyone should hold dear. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
The act committed against you is not only criminal but also sinful. God's Word is clear about such behavior. Ephesians 5:3 WEB says, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
It is disheartening to hear that the perpetrator is enjoying life as if nothing happened, while you are left to deal with the pain and trauma. Psalm 10:14 WEB says, "You have seen it, for you behold mischief and vexation, to take it into your hand. The poor commits himself to you; you have been the helper of the fatherless."
We pray that God will bring justice to this situation. Romans 12:19 WEB says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We also pray that this man will be convicted of his sin and repent. 1 Timothy 4:2 WEB, "through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron."
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is important to report this matter to the relevant authorities, as God has instituted them to maintain order and justice. Romans 13:1-2 WEB, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and they that withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
Lastly, we want to remind you that ultimately, justice will prevail. If not in this life, then certainly in the next. Revelation 21:4 WEB, "He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up your daughter who has been through a traumatic experience. We pray for your healing, comfort, and strength for her. We ask that you bring justice to this situation and convict the man who committed this act. We pray that he will repent and take responsibility for his actions. We also pray that you will guide and protect your daughter as she navigates through this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
But we were not told the name of Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father in the prayer request. You need to understand you must believe in the Son of God. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." in John 14:6 WEB. Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray you have believed in Jesus Christ.
