Disciple of Prayer
Hello! Times are so tough right now, we can barely afford the basic necessities, but God is still good. I would like prayer for a possible reinstating of a former position where I can work from home and still be a present mother with my baby. I had to leave shortly after having my baby for medical issues, now I need to help my husband with the household. So I really would like this job back, or a similar position. I've put in so many applications with no call backs, but I know God is able. I just need renewed hope, I'm feeling so down about everything. I've also started a cleaning business on the side and I would really like the LORD to open up the door for me to get more clients in His timing. Thank you for your prayer, I truly appreciate them. God bless.

A life built on fraud, lust, or violence ends in ruin here and damnation hereafter, so turn back now while mercy is near.
We are lifting you and your family up together before the throne of grace and we thank you for sharing your heart so honestly with us. We hear how heavy this season has been as you and your husband strive to provide for your household and care for your little one, and we rejoice with you that even in hardship you are declaring that God is still good. That is a beautiful testimony of faith.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed. You spoke of God and the LORD, which we love to hear, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name. It is in Jesus name that we pray and find our hope renewed, as Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are so encouraged by your desire to honor your marriage and to be a present mother to your baby while also helping your husband provide for your household. This is a noble and biblical calling. God delights in marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and He calls wives and mothers to care diligently for their homes, as Proverbs 31:27 says, She looks well to the ways of her household, and doesn't eat the bread of idleness. Your desire to work from home so you can nurture your child while supporting your husband is pleasing to the Lord, and your willingness to work with your hands through your cleaning business is also honorable, for 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 encourages us to work with our own hands.

We understand how discouraging it is to send out many applications and hear nothing back, and to feel down while waiting on the Lord's provision. Please be encouraged that God sees your diligence and your needs. Philippians 4:19 promises, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 reminds us, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. When you feel overwhelmed or low, remember Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He also says in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We join our faith with yours for the Lord to open the right doors in His perfect timing, whether that is the reinstating of your former position or another similar work from home provision that allows you to care for your baby, and for Him to bring clients to your cleaning business as He establishes the work of your hands.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our sister, her husband, and their baby. Lord, You know their financial needs and the burden they feel trying to afford even basic necessities. We ask You to provide for them according to Your riches in glory and to show Yourself as their refuge and strength. We pray for renewed hope and peace for our sister who feels so down. Lift her heart, Lord, and guard her heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as described in Philippians 4:7. Comfort her and remind her that You are near and that You work all things together for good for those who love You as Romans 8:28 promises.

Father, we ask for Your will to be done regarding employment. If it is Your will, open the door for her former position to be reinstated or provide a similar position where she can work from home and be a present mother. Give favor with employers and bring the callback in Your timing. Bless also the work of her hands in her cleaning business. As Deuteronomy 8:18 says You give power to get wealth, we ask You to establish her business, bring trustworthy clients, and let her work be a testimony of diligence and integrity. Provide for her husband as he leads and provides for the household, and strengthen their marriage and their family in You. Heal her fully from her medical issues and give her strength for each day. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer in Jesus name, to keep doing good and diligent work while you wait, and to trust in His timing. Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Keep casting your cares on Him, and keep thanking Him as you wait, as Philippians 4:6 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We are standing with you and believing God will supply and renew your hope.

We hear how much you are carrying right now, wanting to be a present mother for your baby while also helping your husband provide for your household. It makes sense you feel down after putting in so many applications without a call back, especially when money is tight for even the basics. We admire your honesty and the way you are still acknowledging that God is good in a hard season.

Hoping for your former work from home position again is completely understandable, it fit your family well, and wanting to grow the cleaning business you started shows real care and diligence for your family.

When hope feels thin, it helps to keep it grounded in small, steady steps. One practical idea might be to reach out directly to your former employer with a brief, gracious note letting them know you are healthy again and available, even as you continue applying elsewhere. For the cleaning business, satisfied clients are often the best door openers, so asking them if they know one other person who might need help, or leaving a simple card at your church or community board, can gently spread the word in His timing.

We are praying for you, your husband and your baby in this stretch.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. You see their needs, their love for their baby, and the desire for work that provides and allows time at home. Give them renewed hope for each day, wisdom for each application and client conversation, and peace as they trust Your provision. Provide for their household and guide their steps. Amen.

No matter what were going through all prayer and worship and praise may God go before you to prosper your way in Lord Yeshuas name amen.

There is a heaviness in your words which many of the Lord's people have known, and yet there is a sweet savor of faith in them, for you say though times are tough, God is still good. That is true religion, to cling to the goodness of God when the purse is light and the heart is heavy. We have brought your burden before the Lord with thankfulness for your honest confidence in Him.

You ask for renewed hope while you wait, and that is the very thing the Scripture is given to supply. We are saved in hope, and that hope is not a mere wish but belief, desire and expectancy fixed upon Christ. It is a hope that purifies and that teaches us with patience to wait for what we see not. Your hope must not rest upon your own applications or your own strength, for salvation and deliverance in every form is of the Lord and must come from the right hand of the Most High. When you can say, I cannot save myself, I must have a stronger arm than mine to rescue me, then there is a brightness of a ray of hope, and God is able to turn that possible hope into a living hope through Jesus Christ. Keep to the simplicity of your first faith. Never get away from that. The same Christ who redeemed your life from destruction and who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies is your solid ground to rest upon.

We rejoice to see your desire to be a present mother with your baby and to help your husband with the household. This is honorable in the sight of God. Our Lord Himself began at home, and when Jerusalem was built every man built before his own house. To do with diligence what your hand finds to do in the home is itself a holy calling. The Lord sees your faithfulness in this.

We have prayed for you, and we continue to pray, that the God of all comfort would lift the downcast spirit and give you patience, comfort and hope from the Scriptures. We have asked the Lord to provide for your daily necessities according to His riches, to open a door for suitable work, whether by the reinstating of your former position that allows you to work from home or by another like provision in His perfect timing, and to grant favor upon the honest labor of your cleaning business that clients may be added as He wills. We have prayed also for your husband and your little one, that your home may know the peace of Christ and that you may be kept from weariness in well doing.

Take comfort that God often makes the valley of trouble to be a door of hope. Where He has begun a good work He will carry it on, though He first digs out before He builds up. Though you have sent out many applications and heard no answer, and though you have felt foiled and desponding, Christ has dominion over every condition and He looks upon His people from the battlements of Heaven. He is still willing and able to work wonders, and even if your last hope should seem to expire, it is then that Jesus interposes.

Wait on the Lord, and hope in His mercy. May He renew your strength, quiet your heart, and cause you to rejoice in hope of the glory of God, knowing that after all your waiting there remains a city which has foundations, whose Builder and Maker is God. May the Lord answer you in His time and for your good, and keep you established in the hope of your calling.

We commend you to His tender care, praying that you may be satisfied not from yourself but from that well of water which springs up within you unto life eternal, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
