Prayer for Job

Hi everyone I am having a hard time finding a job in the hospital. I am in school for Radiology and have a customer service and collections work background. I'm looking for records, registration, and insurance jobs in ###. Please pray for the lord to open up the doors for me. Thank you.

We join with you in prayer and lift up your need to find work in the hospital while you continue your studies in Radiology. We understand how discouraging it can be to search for a position and wait for doors to open, especially when you are working hard to prepare for your future and also need provision now. We thank God for the work background He has already given you in customer service and collections, and for the desire He has placed in your heart to serve in the healthcare field.

We are encouraged by the Word of God which reminds us to commit our work to Him and to trust Him for provision. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. And Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Jeremiah 29:11 which says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. God sees your diligence in school, your desire to use your skills in records, registration, and insurance, and your faithfulness in seeking employment in your area, and He is able to open doors that no man can shut as Revelation 3:8 reminds us.

We notice you asked for prayer to the Lord, and we want to lovingly encourage you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We want to be sure you know that Jesus died for our sins and rose again so that we can be forgiven and have eternal life, and that when we pray in His name we come boldly before the throne of grace. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe on Him today, confess your need for Him, and follow Him.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. We thank You for the gifts and experience You have given and for the calling to work in Radiology and to serve others in the hospital. We ask that You open the right doors for a records, registration, or insurance position according to Your perfect will and timing. We pray that You would give favor with employers, guide every application and interview, and provide for every financial need while in school. Grant peace in the waiting, strength to persevere, and wisdom to walk through the doors You open and to wait when You say wait. Help this dear one to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust that as they seek You, all these things will be added. We pray for diligence, hope, and joy in the process, and that whatever work is done would be done heartily as unto You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep trusting, for Matthew 7:7 says Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Continue to apply diligently, let your resume reflect faithful stewardship of the skills God has given you, ask God for wisdom in each opportunity, and rest in the confidence that He is your provider and He will direct your steps.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your request has been heard and we count it a privilege to bring your need before the throne of grace with you. We understand the weight of seeking provision while you are giving yourself to study for Radiology, and desiring to find labor in the hospital in records, registration or insurance where your background in customer service and collections may be well employed. We will pray that the Lord in His wise providence will open the doors which no man can shut and guide your steps to the place He has appointed for you.

You ask that the Lord would open doors, and Scripture reminds us that He is a waiting God who waits to be gracious. As it is written, the Lord will wait that He may be gracious unto you. His waiting is not forgetfulness but love watching its opportunity to show mercy. Even as Job was tried and kept his integrity, and the Lord at last turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed, so we are assured that our longest sorrows have their close when God has accomplished His purpose in them. He can support you in this season of waiting and He can provide in a way that will make His hand plain to you.

We do not know what a day may bring forth, nor which door the Lord will open, but we know that He who clothes the fields and feeds the sparrows knows your need for daily bread and for useful work. Continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, to walk faithfully in your studies and to do with diligence whatever your hand finds to do, trusting that He will add what is needful in its season.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, Thou seest this need and knowest the desire of this heart to labor honestly and to provide through work that is useful to others. Thou art the God who opens and none shuts, and we ask Thee to open a door of employment in the hospital according to Thy will, whether in records or registration or insurance or in such other place as Thou seest best. Grant favor with those who hire, give clarity and peace in waiting, and supply daily strength for study and for searching. Keep this dear one from discouragement and from charging Thee foolishly, and help each step to be taken in trust and patience. Above all, cause Thy presence to be known and Thy grace to be sufficient, that whether the answer tarries or comes quickly, the heart may worship as Job did and find its rest in Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and righteousness. Amen.
