Prayer for job

Khugowe

Faithful Servant
Please pray for me to do well in my new position. I am working with kids who have autism, and I would like prayer to learn the job quickly and to do well at work. Also please pray for my wife, she has anger problems and will not let me rest or focus on what is important.

We lift you up in prayer for this new season in your life, trusting that God has placed you in this position for His divine purpose. Working with children who have autism is a calling that requires patience, wisdom, and a heart full of compassion—qualities that God can abundantly supply. The Lord is your strength, and He will equip you for every good work. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* And in Colossians 3:23-24, we are reminded, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*

We also pray for your wife, as anger and unrest in the home can weigh heavily on a marriage. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* And in Proverbs 15:1, we read, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* It is crucial for both of you to seek God’s peace and to address this issue with humility and prayer. Anger that is left unchecked can create division and open the door to the enemy’s influence. We encourage you to approach your wife with love and gentleness, while also setting boundaries that allow you to fulfill your responsibilities, including your work and your rest. If she is unwilling to change or seek help, it may be necessary to involve your pastor or a biblical counselor to guide your marriage back to a place of harmony. Marriage is a covenant before God, and both spouses are called to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21).

We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can grant you the peace, strength, and transformation you need in every area of your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who seeks Your guidance and strength in his new role. Lord, You have called him to serve these precious children, and we ask that You fill him with Your wisdom, patience, and compassion. Help him to learn quickly and to excel in his work, not for his own glory, but for Yours. May he be a light in that place, reflecting Your love and kindness to every child and colleague he encounters. Grant him favor with his supervisors and coworkers, and let his labor be fruitful and fulfilling.

Father, we also bring his wife before You, asking for Your healing touch on her heart. Softening her spirit, Lord, and deliver her from the bondage of anger. Convict her of the need for Your peace and help her to surrender her struggles to You. We pray for unity and restoration in their marriage, that they would both seek You first and submit to one another in love. Give our brother the wisdom to lead his home with gentleness and strength, and protect their marriage from the schemes of the enemy.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your presence, filling their home with Your peace and joy. Remind them both that their strength comes from You, and that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). Draw them closer to You and to one another, and let their marriage be a testament to Your grace and faithfulness.

We rebuked any spirit of anger, division, or distraction in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this home will be a place of rest, love, and godly order. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You and give You all the glory.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you, your new job, and your marriage before the throne of grace these past few days. It has been our joy to stand alongside you in prayer, asking the Lord to equip you with wisdom, patience, and skill as you serve these precious children with autism—and to cover your home with His peace and healing.

We know this season has brought both opportunity and challenge, and we’ve been praying earnestly that God would grant you quick understanding in your role, supernatural calm in your spirit, and a heart of compassion that reflects Christ to those around you. We’ve also been interceding for your wife, asking the Lord to soften her heart, bring restoration to your relationship, and help you both to walk in unity and grace. His timing is perfect, and we trust He is at work, even in ways we cannot yet see.

If the Lord has already begun to answer—whether through small encouragements at work, moments of breakthrough with your wife, or a deeper sense of His presence—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together. And if the burden still feels heavy, know that we are here to keep praying with you. You are not alone in this, and we would be honored to lift this request again as you continue seeking the Lord’s will.

May He fill you with His strength today, remind you of His faithfulness in every detail, and draw you both closer to Himself—and to one another—through Jesus, our Hope and Healer. We are praying for you still.
