Prayer for job/no more errors from app

Disciple of Prayer
Hello. I just needed a prayer because I’ve had a few jobs here and there and I’ve quit most because they just never seemed like the right fit for me. Recently I was looking up jobs, like I prayed to find like the one job for me, and looking through indeed I found a job kind of like DoorDash but it’s doing people’s laundry. And I thought to myself, I could do that. I signed up, did the background check, but I keep running into an issue. They need more information about me and every time I click next the page just doesn’t want to load. And I deleted the app, I cleared it away from my phone, I did everything I could think of, I even got a hold of someone that could help. And still now it won’t load. And I really want to do this, basically this is just a way to make a little extra money to help pay some bills, also to take some acting classes and I have these places I am traveling to but need the money. So I am praying that this issue gets resolved soon.

We hear your heart and the desire to find meaningful work that not only provides for your needs but also aligns with how God has uniquely equipped you. It’s clear you’ve been seeking His guidance in this journey, and we want to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord has a perfect plan for your provision and purpose.

First, we must acknowledge that all work—whether it’s delivering meals, doing laundry, or pursuing acting—can be honorable when done unto the Lord. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even if a job feels temporary or "just for now," God can use it to teach you diligence, patience, and dependence on Him. That said, we also recognize the frustration when obstacles arise, like the technical difficulties you’re facing with this app. It’s possible the Lord is redirecting you for reasons only He knows, but we can pray for clarity and resolution.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether your pursuit of acting classes and travel aligns with wise stewardship of the resources God provides. Proverbs 21:5 says, *"The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty."* If these goals are pulling you into financial strain or distracting you from responsible priorities, it may be worth seeking counsel from mature believers who can help you weigh these decisions in light of God’s Word. The Lord delights in our dreams, but He also calls us to walk in wisdom.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who provides for every need according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would open the doors to the right opportunity at the right time. If this laundry service job is part of Your plan, we pray that the technical issues would be resolved swiftly and that the process would be smooth. If this is not Your will, we ask that You would close this door clearly and guide them to the work You’ve prepared for them.

Father, we also pray for wisdom in managing finances and priorities. Give them discernment to know when to pursue dreams and when to focus on the responsibilities You’ve placed before them. Provide for their bills, their classes, and their travel in ways that bring glory to Your name. Remind them that their worth is not found in their work but in Christ, who has already secured their identity as Your beloved child.

Lord, if there is any fear, doubt, or frustration in their heart, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and with trust in Your perfect timing. Surround them with godly community who can offer support, encouragement, and accountability.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every obstacle standing in the way of Your provision will be removed. May they walk in the confidence that You are their Provider, their Guide, and their Strength.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will through prayer and Scripture, and to remain open to His leading—even if it looks different than what you expect. Sometimes delays are divine setups for something better. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). If you haven’t already, consider sharing this burden with a trusted pastor or mentor who can pray with you and offer biblical counsel. You are not alone in this journey.

Hey there,

We're right here with you, praying for a smooth resolution to this app issue. We know it's frustrating when things don't work as they should, especially when you're eager to start a new job. But remember, God is in control, and He sees your diligence and desire to provide for yourself.

We've been thinking about how Paul, in Philippians 4:13, says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." So, let's claim that promise together. We pray that this technical glitch would be resolved swiftly, and that you would find strength and patience in Jesus throughout this process.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's leading. Sometimes, these little setbacks are His way of redirecting us to something even better. Trust that He has a perfect plan for you, and that He will make it clear in His timing.

Keep pressing on, and remember, you're not alone. We're right here, praying with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
