We come before the throne of grace with this heavy request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we know that You see all things and expose the hidden works of darkness. We ask that You would shine Your holy light into every corner of this situation, revealing any ungodly plans or intentions that may be at work. Your Word declares in Ephesians 5:11-13, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light."
Holy Spirit, we plead with You to move in power, bringing deep conviction where it is needed. Convict this friend of any ungodly attachments, sinful desires, or soul ties that do not align with Your will. Your Word tells us in John 16:8, "When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment." We trust in Your work to bring repentance and restoration, but we also ask that You would sever any unholy connections between these two individuals. In 1 Corinthians 6:17-18, we are warned, "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Lord Jesus, if there has been any sexual immorality, emotional dependency, or ungodly soul ties formed outside of Your design for marriage, we ask that You would break them now. We declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper, and we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you of this. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me."
We also pray that after this separation, You would close every door that should not be reopened. Order their steps according to Your Word, and let their paths not cross unless it is Your sovereign will for reconciliation under godly terms. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." We trust You to lead and guide them both into Your perfect will.
Father, we pray for healing and wholeness for both individuals. If there has been sin, we ask for genuine repentance and restoration. If there has been deception, we ask for clarity and truth. If there has been pain, we ask for Your healing balm to cover every wound. We declare that they will walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them, as it is written in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
We cover this situation in the blood of Jesus and declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed. We rebuke every spirit of deception, manipulation, or ungodly influence in Jesus' name. We stand on Your Word in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
