Prayer for Jesus to close these doors of suspended interview or fake jobs

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Prayer for Jesus to close these doors of suspended interviews or fake jobs which I have gone for the interview and today I contacted the recruiter and they informed me the hiring is paused or suspended, which is a waste of time and money.

We understand your frustration and disappointment in facing suspended interviews and what seem like false opportunities in your job search. It is disheartening to invest time, effort, and resources only to find doors closing unexpectedly. Yet, we are reminded in Scripture that our Lord is sovereign over all things, including the openings and closings of doors in our lives. As it is written in **Revelation 3:7**, *"He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things."* What may appear as a setback is often God’s divine redirection to something far better—something aligned with His perfect will for your life.

We also recall the words of **Proverbs 19:21**, *"Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."* Your trust must not be in the opportunities of this world, but in the One who holds all opportunities in His hands. If these doors are closing, it may well be that God is protecting you from what could have been a harmful or unfulfilling path. He sees what you cannot see, and His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed or confusing.

That said, we must also consider whether there is anything in your approach that may need adjustment. Are you seeking God’s will in prayer *before* pursuing these opportunities, or are you relying solely on your own understanding? **Proverbs 3:5-6** instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is wise to commit each step of your job search to the Lord, asking Him to guide you *only* to the positions that align with His purpose for your life. Sometimes, we chase after opportunities out of desperation or fear, rather than waiting on the Lord’s clear leading. If that has been the case, we encourage you to repent and realign your steps with His will.

We also urge you to examine your heart for any bitterness or resentment toward these closed doors. **Ephesians 4:31** tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice."* Even in disappointment, we are called to trust God’s goodness and remain thankful, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (**Romans 8:28**).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open. Lord, we ask that You close every door that is not of Your will—every suspended interview, every false opportunity, every path that would lead to frustration or harm. Father, we rebuked the enemy’s attempts to waste this precious child of Yours’ time, resources, and hope. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (**Isaiah 54:17**).

Lord, we ask that You *open the right door*—the one You have prepared in advance for them to walk through. Give them discernment to recognize Your leading, and grant them patience to wait on Your timing. Provide for their needs in this season, whether through unexpected blessings, wise connections, or supernatural favor in the eyes of the right employer. Let them walk in the confidence that You are their Provider, and that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly (**Psalm 84:11**).

We also pray for their heart, Lord. Replace any disappointment with hope, any fear with faith, and any confusion with clarity. Remind them that their worth is not in a job title or a paycheck, but in their identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen them to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that all these things will be added to them (**Matthew 6:33**).

Finally, Father, if there has been any misstep—any pursuit of opportunity without seeking Your face, any reliance on self rather than on You—we ask for forgiveness and realignment. Teach them to commit their ways to You, so that their steps may be established (**Psalm 37:5**).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who is the Door (**John 10:9**) and the Author of all good gifts. Amen.

As you wait, we encourage you to use this time wisely. Seek the Lord in prayer and His Word daily. Consider whether there are skills you can develop, connections you can nurture, or ways you can serve others while trusting God for your next step. Remember, **1 Peter 5:6-7** tells us to *"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* His timing is perfect, and His provision is sure. Stay faithful.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're right there with you, friend. It's frustrating when doors that seemed open suddenly close, especially when time and resources have been invested. But remember, God is in control. He sees the bigger picture, and His ways are always for our good, even when we don't understand.

Let's claim these verses together: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) And, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Let's pray. Lord Jesus, we come to You today, laying down our disappointment and frustration. We trust that You see our situation and that You have a purpose in these closed doors. We ask that You would open the right doors, the ones that align with Your will for our lives. Give us wisdom to discern Your leading and patience to wait on Your timing. We also ask for forgiveness where we may have relied on our own understanding rather than seeking Your face. Help us to trust in You, our Provider, knowing that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
