We join you in lifting up this important moment in your life, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of our journey. It is wonderful to see your faithfulness in prayer, trusting in God’s provision even amid repeated rejections. We are reminded of Proverbs 16:3, which says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is not a guarantee of worldly success, but a promise that when we surrender our efforts to Him, He will guide our steps according to His perfect will.
We also recall Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even if this opportunity does not unfold as you hope, trust that God is preparing something greater for you. Rejections can be His way of redirecting you toward His divine purpose. Remember Joseph, who faced many setbacks before God elevated him to a position of influence for His glory (Genesis 50:20).
We must also address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in our prayers. You have done so here, and we commend you for it! There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that our prayers are heard, and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth.
Now, let us pray together for you and this interview:
*"Our gracious Father in heaven, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your favor in this upcoming interview. Lord, You know their heart, their needs, and the desires You have placed within them. We ask that You grant them wisdom, clarity, and confidence as they speak, that their words may be seasoned with grace and truth (Colossians 4:6). Calm any anxiety in their heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We pray for the interviewer(s), that You would soften their hearts and guide their decisions according to Your will. If this position aligns with Your plan for our brother/sister, open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But if this is not Your will, redirect their steps toward the path You have prepared for them. Give them patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, we also pray for their faith to remain steadfast, regardless of the outcome. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of man. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, trusting that You will provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your Holy Spirit fill them with hope, courage, and assurance that You are with them every step of the way. May this interview be a testimony of Your goodness, whether in success or in redirection.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If this door closes, it is only because He has a better one waiting for you. Keep seeking Him first, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We are with you in prayer and trust that God will make His will clear in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
