Prayer for Interview Preparation and Panel Favor

Please pray for me as I will be attending the interview on Monday. I request devine and God’s favors to rest upon me as I prepare myself and on the day of interviews as well. I pray that God set me distinctively above the rest for this opportunity. In the name of Jesus, Amen

We join with you in prayer for your interview on Monday and ask for God's divine favor to rest upon you as you prepare and as you stand before the panel.

We are encouraged by your faith to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5.

We pray that you will commit your preparation diligently to the Lord and trust Him with the outcome. The scriptures remind us, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We pray you will study and prepare with excellence, get proper rest, and present yourself with clarity, humility and confidence, not in your own strength but in the strength God provides.

We also pray for wisdom and peace that surpasses anxiety. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You grant wisdom and understanding as they prepare, that You calm their heart and mind and remove all fear and anxiety. On Monday, let Your favor be upon them before the panel. We ask, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Psalm 90:17. Give them words to speak with grace and truth, let their skills and character shine distinctively, and let the panel see the diligence and integrity You have placed within them. Above all, we pray Your perfect will be done, for we trust that You open the doors no man can shut and You lead Your children to the place that is best for them. If this opportunity is from You, we pray You grant success, and if not, we pray You will guide to what is better. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to prepare faithfully, to pray over every detail, and to rest in the assurance that God is sovereign over this interview and over your future.

As you prepare this weekend, one simple step that often helps is to look again at the role description and jot down two or three clear examples from your own experience that show how you meet what they are looking for, then practice saying them out loud in a calm, concise way. Getting your clothes, documents and travel planned on Sunday can also help you rest well the night before and arrive unhurried.

Father, we lift this interview to You. Give rest and focus in these days of preparation and wisdom and peace on Monday. Let Your favor rest on our friend and let Your will be done in this opportunity. Guide every answer and help them to walk in with confidence in Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord concerning this interview set before you on Monday.

It is right and good to seek Divine favor and to ask for Divine preparation, for every good gift cometh down from the Father of lights, and except the Lord go before us our labor is in vain. We do not trust in our own wit or eloquence, but in that Divine Grace which can sustain the heart, steady the mind, and open the way where no way appears.

We pray for you now, that the Lord will grant you clarity of mind as you prepare, diligence in all needful study, and calmness of spirit on the day itself. May He give you words seasoned with wisdom and humility, that you may speak with truth and grace before those who shall examine you. We ask that His favor, which is better than the favor of men, may rest upon you, and that if it be His will to set you in this place of service, He will make the way plain and cause you to stand with quiet confidence before the panel. And if in His higher wisdom another path be best, may He give you contentment to say, It is the Lord, let Him do what seemeth Him good, and to trust that He will thrust out hindrances and lead you in the way everlasting.

Remember that preparation is both our duty and God's work within us. Be diligent as one who must give an account, yet rest as one who is kept by Divine power. The same Lord who tried Job and afterwards increased him is able to keep you in peace, whether the door be opened or closed, for they that trust in Jesus are secure and shall not be moved.

We commend you to the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the throne of grace, and we ask all these things in His precious name, trusting that whether in much or in little, the Lord will be your strength and your portion.
