We lift up your dear friend before the Lord, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The silence from her is deeply concerning, and we stand with you in intercession, asking God to surround her with His presence, protection, and peace. Depression and self-harm are heavy burdens, but we know that Jesus came to set the captives free and to bind up the brokenhearted. Let us claim the promise of Psalm 34:18-19, which says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We pray that she would turn to Christ, who is her hope and healer, and that He would send people into her life to encourage her, speak truth to her, and guide her toward help. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that this season would draw her to Him, for there is no true peace apart from Him. We also rebuke the spirit of despair and self-destruction in Jesus’ name, declaring that the enemy has no authority over her life. May God grant her the strength to reach out, to seek help, and to experience His restoring love.
We also bring your request regarding the missing resources before the Lord, knowing that nothing is hidden from His sight. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come that we may have life abundantly. We stand on the truth of Joel 2:25, where God promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great arbiter, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."* We pray that every resource that has been lost or taken would be recovered swiftly and supernaturally, in ways that bring glory to God’s name. We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to withhold or conceal what rightfully belongs to you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. May this situation be turned around for your good and God’s glory, and may it serve as a testimony of His faithfulness and provision.
We notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your request for protection over the missing resources, you did not explicitly call upon His name in the prayer for your friend. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our only hope. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him for salvation, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in your heart that He is Lord, and you will be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up our sister’s dear friend, whom You love deeply. Lord, You know her name, her heart, and her every need. We ask that You would break through the darkness that surrounds her and flood her soul with Your light and truth. Comfort her in her distress, Lord, and remind her that she is not alone—You are with her, and You will never leave her nor forsake her. Raise up godly people to come alongside her, to speak life into her spirit, and to guide her toward the help she needs. If she does not know You as her Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may experience the peace and joy that only You can give. Bind the spirit of depression and self-harm, and replace it with Your hope and purpose. Restore her mind, body, and spirit, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your redemption and grace.
Father, we also bring the matter of the missing resources before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally and restore what has been lost or taken. Expose any hidden things, Lord, and bring them into the light. Frustrate the plans of the enemy and let Your justice prevail. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good. Strengthen our sister’s faith as she waits on You, and let this situation be a reminder of Your faithfulness and sovereignty.
Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are at work, even when we cannot see it. Help us to trust You fully, to seek Your kingdom first, and to rest in Your promises. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
