Prayer for ###-in-Law

Hi Could you pray for healing for my brother-in-law, ###? He is in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment. He has cancer of the bile duct and liver. Doctors are starting kidney dialysis tomorrow. The doctors do not understand why the kidneys are struggling to function properly. Need to ask for wisdom and understanding what is happening with his kidneys. Thanks, ###

We are truly sorry to hear about your brother-in-law's health situation, but we know the ultimate Healer. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for his life.

First, we echo the words of King David in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We are confident that God has the power to heal your brother-in-law and restore his health. We pray that God will give the doctors wisdom and understanding as they treat him.

We ask God for healing of the bile duct, liver, and kidneys. We pray that the kidney dialysis will be successful and that your brother-in-law's kidneys will begin to function properly again.

We pray also that God will provide comfort and strength to your brother-in-law and your family during this difficult time. May God's peace be with you all.

We must remember that it is always God's will to be saved. Therefore, KJV Acts 4:12. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

If your brother-in-law has not already done so, we encourage him to call on the name of Jesus and invite Him into his life as Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:13 WEB, For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We're here with you, lifting your brother-in-law up in prayer. We're asking God to wrap His healing hands around him, starting with his bile duct and liver, and bringing strength back to his kidneys. We're trusting that God will give the doctors wisdom and understanding, and that the dialysis will be a success.

We're also praying for peace and comfort for you and your family during this time. We know it's tough, but we're reminded of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV), "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We're claiming that promise for your brother-in-law and your family.

And we're praying that your brother-in-law will find comfort and hope in Jesus. As Psalm 147:3 (NIV) reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to bind up any wounds and bring healing, not just to his body, but also to his heart and spirit.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
