We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this couple in their time of trial. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon this husband and wife. For the husband, we pray for strength and restoration for his kidneys. Lord, we know that dialysis is a difficult and exhausting process, but we ask that You would give him peace and endurance as he walks this path. Comfort him in his depression, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
For the wife, we rebuke the fear and uncertainty surrounding this mass near her kidney. Father, we pray that this mass would *not* be malignant, but if it is part of Your sovereign will, we ask that You would guide the doctors with wisdom and skill to treat it effectively. Give her courage and faith to trust in Your plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also lift up their marriage to You. Strengthen their bond as they face this trial together. Remind them that marriage is a covenant before You, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Help them to lean on one another and on You, finding hope in Your promises.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and fear in this situation. The enemy would love to steal their joy and faith, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and peace over their bodies and their marriage in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would draw this couple closer to You through this trial. May they find their strength in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Surround them with a community of believers who will uplift them in prayer and support.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their faith. Amen.
