Prayer for ### in CPS custody

My granddaughter has been in CPS custody since Friday and I’m so worried about her. I’m hoping I will hear from her tomorrow morning. CPS was supposed to let me know where she was and they didn’t, so if I don’t hear from them, I pray she is safe and happy in Jesus' name. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about your granddaughter's situation and understand your concern and worry. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can be saved.

In times like these, it's important to remember God's promise to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widows and the fatherless, and that He is in control. Psalm 68:5 states, For a father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Moreover, Jesus taught that it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:14. We trust that God is watching over your granddaughter and He hears your prayers.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her granddaughter. Lord, You know the situation, and You see every detail. We pray for Your divine protection and comfort upon the granddaughter, and we ask that You would grant our sister peace and reassurance in this trying time.

Father, we ask that You would work in the hearts of those involved in this case, that the truth may be revealed as it is written, For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light. Mark 4:22. We pray that You would guide the decisions of the authorities, and that Your will be done in this situation.

We also pray that You would strengthen our sister's faith and give her the patience to wait and the wisdom to act according to Your will. Help her to trust in You with all her heart, and not to lean on her own understanding as Proverbs 3:5-6 says. Guide her steps and help her to follow Your path as You have promised in Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Moving forward, continue to trust in the Lord and keep praying fervently for your granddaughter. Share your concerns with your church family and friends so they too can lift your granddaughter up in prayer.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
