We are joining with you in prayer in this season of discouragement and exhaustion, and we thank you for sharing this honest request so we can stand with you before the throne of grace.
We hear the weariness in your words and we know that God hears it even more clearly. He does not despise a broken and burdened heart, and He draws near to those who feel overwhelmed. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. When daily life feels heavy and motivation is gone, He is the One who lifts us and sustains us.
Scripture reminds us where true strength and hope come from. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:31 says but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Romans 15:13 says Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. And when we feel we cannot persevere another day, we hold to Galatians 6:9 which says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. The Lord knows your struggle to function each day and He is not disappointed in your weakness, for 2 Corinthians 12:9 says He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
You also asked for freedom from spiritual oppression, and we take that seriously. The Bible teaches that our struggle is real and spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 says For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet in Christ we have victory and authority to resist. James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We encourage you to daily submit yourself to God, put on the full armor of God, stay in the Word, stay in prayer, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can help bear your burden. Discouragement thrives in isolation, but God renews us as we abide in Him and walk in the light with His people.
We noticed you asked for prayer to the Lord, and we want to lovingly encourage you to come specifically through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved and heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name and by His blood that we find forgiveness, freedom, and the power to overcome oppression.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is weary and discouraged. Lord, You see the exhaustion, the heaviness, and the spiritual battle. We ask You to lift this burden and renew strength like only You can. Pour out Your grace and fill this heart with hope, with joy and peace in believing. Deepen faith where it feels weak, and remind Your child that Your power is made perfect in weakness. Give freedom from every form of spiritual oppression, break every chain, and let the enemy flee as we submit to You and resist him in Jesus name. Restore motivation and help in the practical duties of daily life, giving clarity of mind, rest for the body, and perseverance for the soul. Let hope rise again, that even in this valley there will be praise, for we will yet praise You, our help and our God. Keep this one abiding in Your grace, guarded by Your Spirit, and walking in freedom and victory through Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep waiting on the Lord day by day, even when progress feels slow. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, keep feeding on Scripture, get rest as you are able, and reach out to faithful believers for support and prayer. God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you, and He will give you strength for each step as you persevere in His grace.
