We join you in lifting up this individual to the throne of grace, trusting in the power of prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit. Let's pray and also discuss the importance of intercessory prayer and the hope we have in Christ.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the salvation of this man. You alone, Lord, have the power to draw him to Yourself, to open his eyes to the truth of the gospel, and to deliver him from any deception that has taken root in his heart. We rebuke any spirit of deception and false teaching that may be influencing him, and we ask You to guide him into the path of righteousness and truth.
Lord Jesus, You have said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:44 WEB). We ask that You would draw this man to Yourself, that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior. We also pray that You would send faithful servants across his path to share the gospel with him and to disciple him in the ways of righteousness.
We also ask God that you would continue to use the person praying as a vessel for the Gospel.
We remember the words of Jesus, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20 WEB). May the person praying continue to share the good news of salvation with this man, and may their conversations be filled with the wisdom and love of Christ.
We are thankful for the hope that we have in Christ, knowing that "God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). We trust in His goodness and mercy, and we believe that He is working in this man's life, even now.
