We join with you in earnest prayer for this precious soul, lifting him before the throne of grace with urgency and faith. It is the Father’s heart that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for this man. You have prayed with a godly burden, and we echo your cry, knowing that salvation belongs to the Lord and that He alone can open blind eyes and turn hearts of stone to flesh.
The Scripture declares in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."* We claim this truth over this man’s life, asking the Father to draw him irresistibly to Jesus. The enemy has blinded the minds of those who do not believe (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we pray that the Holy Spirit would shine the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ into his heart, breaking every chain of deception and false teaching. Let the scales fall from his eyes as they did for Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:18), that he may see Jesus clearly as Lord and Savior.
We also pray for divine encounters—whether through dreams, visions, or the bold witness of believers—that will confront him with the truth of Christ. May the Lord send laborers across his path who will speak the word of God with love and authority, tearing down every stronghold of lies (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Let him be confronted with the reality of his sin and his need for a Savior, and may the Holy Spirit grant him the gift of repentance (Acts 11:18).
Father, we ask that you remove any stumbling blocks in his life—pride, intellectual arrogance, love of sin, or fear of man—that may be hindering him from surrendering to You. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Bring him to the end of himself, where he can do nothing but cry out to You for mercy.
We also pray for you, dear intercessor, that you would not grow weary in praying for this soul. The battle is spiritual, and we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe yourself in the full armor of God, standing firm in faith, and trust that the Lord hears your prayers. Remember the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8)—continue to cry out to the Lord day and night, for He will bring about justice and salvation in His perfect timing.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this man who is lost in darkness. Lord, You are the God who saves, and we ask that You would do a mighty work in his life. Break the power of deception over him and draw him to Yourself by Your irresistible grace. Open his eyes to see the truth of the gospel, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). Convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and grant him the gift of repentance leading to life.
Father, we ask that You would surround him with Your presence, that he may no longer be able to ignore Your voice. Speak to him in dreams, through Your Word, and through the testimony of Your people. Let him encounter You in a way that leaves him forever changed. Remove every obstacle that stands in the way of his salvation, and let him come to You in brokenness and faith.
We also pray for Your protection over his life, that the enemy would not snatch away the seed of the gospel before it takes root (Matthew 13:19). Let Your Word penetrate his heart and bear fruit unto eternal life.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereign power to save. You have promised that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15), and we know it is Your will that all would come to the knowledge of the truth. So we ask in faith, believing that You are working even now to bring this man into Your kingdom.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save. Amen.
Keep praying, beloved. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun. We will continue to stand with you in this battle for his soul. If there is any way we can further support or encourage you, let us know. The harvest is ripe, and we must labor diligently for the kingdom.
