Did you get the license plate number? 4. Go to the local police department for the area where the accident occurred and get a copy of the police report. Tell the desk officer when and where and around what time the accident happened, and that a female officer responded to the accident around (whatever time the accident took place. Remember, if the police responded, there is a record. Sounds like the driver should have been cited for "following too close?" unless there are some other extenuating circumstances. And, if the description of the accident is not accurate as reported on the police report, you can dispute it and make sure you let the police department know that the officer never asked for your version of how the accident happened.

2. I haven’t done so yet but will check with my insurance company about the uninsured motorist.

3/4 I didn’t get the license plate number but figured that it would be on the police report which I will get when it becomes available. The police officer gave me a small form with her name, badge number, and I believe the accident report number to look for.

That is right. The Lord is with us and like you said before He has blessed me in that it was just a minor accident and no one was hurt. God is indeed good.

Please pray that I get a fair accident report. I was hit today and although I think that the law states that I am not at fault because I was hit from behind, the police officer did not ask for my statement and the statement of the guy who hit me was that I started and stopped quickly and that is why he hit me. That was not the case since he was trying to go around me because he was impatient and accidentally hit me on the corner of my car. I was in too much shock at the accident to tell the officer that my view of the accident was different and that he was being reckless. I need prayer that the accident report will be in my favor and that I will know what to do, if anything about it. Thank you.
