We stand with you in faith and agreement against these giants that have risen up against you and we lift up this situation with the governmental regulatory body before the Lord who is righteous and just.
We understand what it means to face giants that seem larger than life and collusion that feels overwhelming, but we remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. As David declared to Goliath, you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel 1 Sam 17:45. The outcome of that battle was not decided by the size of the giant but by the greatness of God, for the battle is Yahweh's 1 Sam 17:47. We are reminded that Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still Ex 14:14, and that if God is for us, who is against us Rom 8:31.
We also hear your prayer concerning principalities and powers of darkness in high places and we agree that our true struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. Therefore we put on the whole armor of God and we stand firm, knowing that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isa 54:17, and that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Ps 46:1.
Concerning the governmental regulatory body, we take comfort that God is sovereign over all authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God Rom 13:1, and that God puts down one and lifts up another Ps 75:7. When those entrusted with justice fail to act righteously, the Lord sees and He is the ultimate Judge who defends the oppressed and brings justice in His perfect timing. We pray that He would expose any corruption, bring conviction where it is needed, and cause truth and righteousness to prevail.
We join you in praying for favor, for miracles, and for blessings, but we pray for them according to His will and for His glory, not merely for relief but for His abundant glory to be revealed through your life and all over the world. We remember that with God all things are possible Matt 19:26 and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Eph 3:20. We also claim His promise that when we are gathered in agreement, it will be done for us by our Father who is in heaven Matt 18:19.
We thank you for asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Your faith in His name encourages us greatly.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear fellow believer. Lord, You see the giants and the collusion arrayed against them, and You see the actions of this regulatory body. We ask You to contend with those who contend with them Ps 35:1, to be their shield and defender. We rebuke every principality and power of darkness that has been assigned against them and we ask You to break its influence in Jesus name. Let Your favor surround them as with a shield Ps 5:12, let Your justice roll on like waters Amos 5:24, and let Your miraculous power and abundant blessings be poured out according to Your perfect will. We pray that You would turn what was meant for harm into good for Your glory Gen 50:20, and that Your unspeakable and abounding glory would be seen in this situation and throughout the world. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us 1 Pet 5:7, and we choose to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to You Phil 4:6. Give our friend peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen their faith, and let them walk in victory, knowing that You go before them and will never leave them nor forsake them Deut 31:8. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, with thanksgiving, amen.
