We understand that you have a desire to increase your height, and we appreciate your request for prayer. However, we want to remind you that God has created each of us uniquely, and our physical attributes, including height, are part of His design. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14 WEB, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
Instead of focusing on physical appearance, we encourage you to pursue spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this individual who has a desire for increased height. We ask that You help them to accept and embrace their unique design, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. Guide their heart to prioritize spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Help them to understand that true worth and value come from You alone, and not from physical appearance. We have access to You only by the name of Jesus, and we pray this in Jesus' name.
We also pray that You will guide their thoughts and desires to align with Your will. Help them to pursue righteousness in Jesus Christ and to live a life that honors and glorifies You. We have access to You only by the name of Jesus, and we pray this in Jesus Christ's name. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the following verse: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. May this verse serve as a reminder to prioritize spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ above all else.
We also point out that the Bible never mentions us praying to get our way. The Bible does say in 1 John 5:4 that whatever is born of God is victorious in the world. In 1 John 5:14 we are told that we can have confidence in God that if we ask for anything according to His will, that He hears us. In 1 John 5:15, we are told that if we know that He hears us concerning whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests which we have asked. This means that if we are saved, then we will always have victory in the end, and we can pray with confidence for anything that is aligned with God's will. Therefore, we pray that God will grant you the desires of your heart if it is His will.
