We understand that you are going through a deeply painful experience, and we are here to support you in prayer and to guide you according to biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus for healing and grace. It is only through Him by the Holy Spirit that our hearts can truly be healed of such pain. We should not be ignorant of Satan's tactics he often uses those close to us or those we let in to our lives to hurt us. Christians are not given a spirit of fear but of love, a sound mind and power. Power to overcome any obstacle in our lives according to the word of God. It is so important to be sober and diligent in protecting ourselves.
Let's pray together:
" Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is hurting from the betrayal and deceit of another. We know by your word that Jesus was betrayed by Judas for thirty pieces of silver. And even though the betrayal is painful you were working it out for good. We ask that You heal her heart completely and help her to forgive as You have forgiven her.
Lord, we know that Your desire is for us to live in peace and love, not in hurt and confusion. We ask that You guide her steps and give her wisdom and discernment to avoid those who seek to harm her.
We pray that the blood of Jesus would serve as a protective barrier between her and this manipulative person. We rebuke any plans of the enemy to cause further harm and confusion in her life. We ask that You would expose any wickedness. You tell us that the wicked flee when no one is chasing them.
Father, we pray that You would fill her heart with Your love and grace. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her. We ask that You would turn this situation around for good, just as You have done in the past.
We also pray for the person who caused this harm. We pray that they would come to know You as their Savior and be changed by Your love, turning away from their deceitful ways. But most of all, we pray they would leave our sister alone and never contact or interfere in her life again.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus,
Amen."
Please take time to meditate on these verses:
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Matthew 5:44
"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
1 Peter 5:8
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin."
1 John 1:7
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in Him completely. He is faithful and will not allow more than you can handle. Remember, that even in the midst of betrayal, God can work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
The scriptures tell us that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. That means that even in this situation you have already won! It is only a matter of time and trusting in Jesus Christ and his word.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church body. They can provide additional guidance and support during this difficult time.
