Prayer for health

We join together with you in prayer for your health today and we bring your need before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, thankful that you have asked in His name for it is by Him alone we have access to God.
We are sorry you are feeling so unwell and uncertain about what is wrong, and we want to remind you that the Lord sees you and cares deeply for your body and your spirit. Scripture tells us that He is our healer, for it is written I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to His promise But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17.
We encourage you not to carry this anxiety alone but to cast it upon Him, as we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We also encourage you to rest as you are able and to seek wise medical counsel if your symptoms continue or worsen, for God often works through the hands of physicians and we are to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us, and we pray for wisdom for any doctors or caregivers who may help you. Remember also the comfort of Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You who is feeling unwell today. You know the body intimately, for You formed it, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon them, ease whatever affliction or sickness is causing this distress, and restore strength and wellness according to Your perfect will. Grant peace to their heart while they wait upon You, remove fear and uncertainty, and give them restful sleep and renewed energy. Guide them to the right help if it is needed and give wisdom to discern what steps to take for their health. We pray that through this You would draw them even closer to You and remind them of Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Cast your cares on Him and rest in His care for you, for we are told Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request has been heard and we have brought it before the throne of grace on your behalf in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are sorry to hear that you are unwell and know not the cause of your affliction. While the body is weak and cast down, remember that our Lord is the great Physician who on earth cured all sorts of sickness, and there was not one disease which He did not heal. He still takes our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is an abundance of healing power in Him. Even the leaves of the Tree of Life, which is Christ Himself, are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue for body and soul.
Tell your case to Jesus just as you would tell a physician. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Him, for He is the Word whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls, and it is the Word applied by the Holy Spirit that brings true health. Do not think that your sickness proves any special displeasure of God, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and many who are dear to Him pass through bodily affliction while their spirit is life because of righteousness.
We pray for you now, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that whether by His own hand or by the means He has appointed, you may be restored and strengthened in the Lord.
O Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this afflicted one who is unwell and weary. Lay Thy healing hand upon this body and ease this infirmity according to Thy perfect will. Grant wisdom to any who give care, give patience in suffering and faith to trust Thy goodness. Above all, let this trial draw the heart nearer to Christ, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, that pardon and healing may be known together, and strength may be renewed to serve Thee. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope of salvation and health, Amen.
