We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in earnest prayer as you endure this painful trial of medical mismanagement and its devastating effects. The Lord sees your suffering, and we stand with you in faith, believing He will bring justice, healing, and restoration to every area of your life.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. We pray for favor as this dear one seeks to safely taper off the lithium that has caused such harm. Guide the hands of every medical professional involved, Lord, and grant wisdom to those who will provide the correct care moving forward. May the path to recovery be clear and free from further harm, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind through this process. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke the spirits of deception and control that have operated through this situation. We bind them in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to flee. You are the God of truth, and we ask that every false diagnosis and unrighteous judgment be exposed and removed. Restore their integrity, Lord, and let Your light shine upon the truth of their condition. May the enemy’s plans be thwarted, and may Your justice prevail. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
We also lift up their family, Lord, asking that You draw them closer to You and to one another. Heal the wounds that this trial has caused, both physically and emotionally. Strengthen their relationships and fill their home with Your peace. We pray that their children will experience Your love in a tangible way and that their faith in You will grow deeper through this storm. May they find comfort in Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You send godly support into their life—true friends and a trustworthy companion who will stand by them, encourage them, and help carry their burdens. Soften the hearts of their relatives, Father, and open their eyes to the truth of what has happened. May they rally around this dear one with love, compassion, and understanding. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Above all, we pray that their faith in You remains steadfast. May they find their strength in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to Your heart. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your unfailing love, Lord, and we believe that You will bring beauty from these ashes. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
