We have heard your request for healing for your enlarged liver and the pain in the upper left of your stomach, and we join together with you in prayer as we wait with you for the results from your doctor. We know how difficult and anxious this waiting can be, and we want to lift you up before our Heavenly Father who sees you and cares deeply for you.
We take comfort that our God is our healer. We are reminded in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We believe God is able to touch your body, to bring restoration to your liver, to ease this pain, and to guide the hands and wisdom of your doctors.
While you wait, we pray that God will guard your heart with His perfect peace. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We encourage you to cast your worry on Him, to rest in His presence, and to continue to follow your doctor's counsel as God often works through the wisdom He gives to medical professionals.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for in Romans 10:9, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly come before God for healing and for every need.
We pray together now for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear one to You. You know the pain in their stomach, You know the condition of their liver, and You know the anxiety of waiting for answers. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch their body. We pray for restoration, for comfort, for the pain to subside, and for complete healing according to Your will. We pray for wisdom for the doctors, for clarity in the test results, and for guidance in the next steps of care. Fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, calm their fears, and let them feel Your presence and strength each day. Help them to trust You fully and to know Your love more deeply through this trial. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to keep you in prayer. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep us updated so we can continue to pray with you.
