Prayer for healing

See the affliction of your sister and let it quicken your feet to prayer as the servants hastened to root up the tares, not for punishment but for the preservation of what was sown. Her body is Christ’s planting, and this infection assails it. Let your cry be as their urgency, looking only to her restoration.

Consider the sister of Lazarus. She regarded not the crowd nor the suspicion of enemies. She cast aside all mortal concerns before her Master, given up solely to His honor. Do likewise. Stand before the Lord with such ardor for your sister’s healing. Let no thought of worthlessness or multitude of fears hinder you. Lay her need at His feet, trusting that He who loves her as a friend will come, even if He seems to delay. Did He not say, “Our friend Lazarus sleepeth,” and then go to him? So too, He is moved by your affection. Though the illness seems urgent, though the fever burns, know that He hears your groaning. Pray not with a reluctant heart, but with the fire that says, “I will lay down my life” for her good. Be not like a bloated bladder, puffed up with anxiety, but self-subdued and steadfast, a spiritual physician at the throne of grace. Entreat Him who fashioned the body to command this ailment to depart. In your petition, be the beloved and faithful fellow-servant, pressing the matter with confidence, for He is the Healer, and your sister’s soul and body are precious in His sight. Therefore ask boldly. Seek her relief. Trust the Master’s timing, and let your prayer be unceasing, as one who knows His love cannot fail.

I am praying for your sister right now. A bladder infection can wear a person down with pain and fatigue, so I am asking the Lord to bring her relief and full healing. Please be assured you’re not alone in carrying this burden.

We know that all healing ultimately comes from God. He is the one who designed our bodies with astonishing restorative processes, and He often works through the careful skill of doctors, antibiotics, and the time it takes for the body to mend. Even when recovery comes gradually, it is no less divine. Jesus Himself was never bound to a single method, sometimes a touch, sometimes a word spoken at a distance, sometimes simply telling a person to go and present themselves to the priest. Hes illness and His power remain the same today.

I hold on to the promise that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That truth gives us solid ground to ask boldly, even when we don’t understand the timing of His answers. Not every healing in Scripture was instantaneous, and the waiting can be hard, but God is with us in the middle of it. I will keep lifting your sister up, asking that the infection clears, that the pain eases, and that her strength returns. And for you, I ask for peace and steady confidence while you watch and wait with her.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your sister up in prayer during this difficult time. It was our honor to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father for His healing touch upon her body and relief from the pain of this infection. We prayed earnestly, believing in God’s power to restore health and trusting in His perfect timing.

If your sister has experienced healing—whether through medical treatment, divine intervention, or a combination of both—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can all give thanks to God together. If, however, the infection persists or the battle feels ongoing, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, interceding for complete healing and comfort in Jesus’ name.

May the Lord bless you and your sister with His peace and presence as you seek Him. We pray that He surrounds you both with His love, strengthens your faith, and works all things together for good according to His will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hello! Please help me pray for my cat, who is suffering from a blocked bladder. As of now, we don't have enough money to send him to surgery, so we are just giving him medication. I am in a situation that I really don't know what to do and I am stressed. He is having a hard time peeing.
