Disciple of Prayer
I'm just asking for prayer for healing. I'm a stay at home mom and I can't afford, time or financially, for me to go the doctor's. I have a suspicion that it's gallstones, but obviously I don't know.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer for healing. We know that the pain and uncertainty you are experiencing must be overwhelming, especially as you care for your family without the resources to seek medical attention right now. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees your suffering and is near to you in this time of need.

Father God, we ask You to touch this dear sister with Your healing hand. If it is gallstones or any other ailment, we pray that You would dissolve the pain, restore her strength, and grant her relief. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You provide wisdom and guidance, even in the absence of medical care, and that You would open doors for her to receive the help she needs in Your perfect timing.

We also want to gently encourage you to seek the Lord’s provision in this season. Philippians 4:19 tells us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God would make a way where there seems to be no way, whether through a kind neighbor, a local ministry, or even a divine appointment with a healthcare provider who can offer assistance. Trust in Him, for He cares for you deeply.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we want to share with you that healing, both physical and spiritual, begins with a relationship with Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal healing.

We also rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may be trying to take hold of you. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him. You are not alone, dear sister, we are standing with you, believing for your complete healing and restoration. Amen.

We hurt with you in this, and we know how heavy it can feel to carry physical pain while you’re also carrying the quiet, endless work of caring for little ones. When you’re the one everyone else leans on, even a small health scare can feel overwhelming, and not knowing what’s going on inside your own body only adds to the fear. You’re wise to reach out and ask for prayer.

We’re praying for your relief and for clarity. At the same time, we want to gently encourage you not to carry the medical side of this entirely alone. If there’s a free clinic nearby, a church benevolence fund that could help with an initial visit, or even a nurse in your congregation you trust enough to ask quietly, we hope you’ll take that step. Sometimes God meets us through the hands of people who have the training we don’t, and there’s no shame in seeking that out. It isn’t a lack of faith. It’s exactly what a good steward of the body God gave you would do.

More than anything, we want you to sense that you’re not forgotten in the long hours of mothering and the ache of the unknown. He sees you awake at night worrying, and He sees you pushing through the day when you’d rather rest. That doesn’t go unnoticed.

Lord Jesus, we lift this mom to You. Please bring her body relief from pain and give wisdom for what comes next. Quiet the fears that come with not knowing, and open a door for the care she needs, whether through a person, a resource, or clear guidance. Sustain her in the midst of labor that feels invisible, and remind her again that she is seen. In Your name.

Your request for prayer has reached us, and we do not neglect it. You are a mother at home, and you feel the pinch of time and purse, unable to visit the physician. Yet the Lord is not bound by apothecaries or silver; He is the great Physician who can heal with but a word. When He walked among men, He went about doing good, healing all manner of sickness. Still today the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and that Tree is Christ, ever accessible to every poor sinner who casts herself upon Him.

But let your heart take hold of this: the healing of the body is a small mercy compared with the healing of the soul. Your present pain may be the very door through which the Lord would enter to deal with deeper hurts. The same lips that declared, “Man, thy sins are forgiven thee,” also commanded, “Rise up and walk.” Pardon and healing are one in Jesus. Bring your suspicion of gallstones and lay it at His feet; He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. The burden of a sinner does not need two ticks of the clock for it to be removed, swifter than lightning is that verdict of absolution. And if sin is forgiven, then soul-disease receives its deathblow.

We shall join our faith with yours, praying that the Lord rebuke this malady and restore you swiftly. Yet if He ordain that the trial linger, may He grant patience and sweet communion with Himself. The sons of want endure pain the wealthy scarce imagine, but the Lord feeds the sparrows and will surely furnish what you need. Hope in Him. And should relief come, then the common sun, the air, the skies, to you they shall be an opening Paradise. Until then, trust the supernatural Physician, who alone can cure the incurable.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

A body neglected cries out, and you have heard its voice. It is no small thing to be a mother, poured out daily for your household, yet now your own vessel groans. Do not imagine that this affliction has come apart from God's permission or that He is deaf to your need. Remember how the multitudes came for healing, and though they dared not ask for bread, He who has compassion gave them even what they did not request. He is the same toward you. The suspicion of gallstones must not become an excuse to bury yourself in worry, for anxiety is a thick mist that darkens perception. Rise up from that fog and seek Him who alone can heal without payment or physician. You say you cannot afford a doctor's visit, but has He not opened a way of access through prayer, which costs nothing but a contrite heart?

Yet do not merely stand in your house as a careless hearer, wondering at what the Scripture says while bearing nothing away. Ask, and it shall be given; seek, and you shall find, though it requires much care. The hindrances are many: the noise of children, the strain of poverty, the ache in your side. These are the strokes against the trunk that seem to produce no immediate fall. But after many blows, the tree is brought down suddenly, and what appeared fruitless was secretly working all along. So it may be with your body. Do not then neglect what lies within your power. While you wait upon the Lord, practice a small victory at home: when pain makes you sharp, guard your tongue from swearing or despairing words against your husband or little ones. That discipline clears the soul for healing, and often the finger of wrath does more damage than any stone.

As for the timing, consider our Master. When they sought to seize Him before the hour, He said, "My time has not yet come," and walked away unharmed. Yet later, when the appointed moment arrived, He yielded willingly so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled. Your time is in His hands as well. The suffering may linger not because He is powerless, but because He is working something deeper: patience, reliance, a voice that calls out like the Bridegroom's friend rejoicing at the sound. I rejoice that you have asked for prayer, for in that very asking, a crack has formed in the darkness. Let me now entreat the merciful God on your behalf, and while I do so, do you not stand idle but join your own heart's cry to mine.

O Lord who fashioned the body and knows its every hidden part, look upon this mother whose hands labor for others. You see the pain she cannot name, the fear she cannot afford to investigate. If it be stones, command them to pass as easily as a word departs from the mouth. If it be some other disorder, rebuke it with a word, for you need only speak and all creation obeys. Grant her relief, wisdom about whether to seek earthly skill, and above all a steadfast mind that trusts your governance. Whether you heal at once or delay for greater fruit, let her not sink into neglectful hearing but rise daily to seek your face through the pain, knowing that he who endures ten blows and seems insensible is not forgotten by the One who sees the root. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory forever.

I want you to know that your prayer request has been heard, and I am bringing it before the Lord with a heart full of faith for you. I know the heavy weight that comes with being unwell while caring for your home and family, and I understand the added burden of not having the time or money to seek medical answers right now. Please don’t carry that worry alone.

When I think about healing, I find myself looking at how Jesus worked while he walked this earth. He didn’t follow a single, predictable pattern. Sometimes he spoke a word and a servant miles away was instantly made whole. Other times he touched, or he used spittle and clay, or he sent someone home to find the healing complete when they arrived. And then there were moments when healing was not instantaneous but gradual, progressive, step by step. A blind man saw men as trees walking before full sight came. The common thread was never the method; it was the authority of the one who healed and the faith that reached out to him.

One of the greatest obstacles we face is that we tend to look at ourselves and our circumstances instead of looking at God. We tally our limitations, the cost, the clock, the pain, and we give a testimony of unbelief without even realizing it. Faith, though, turns its eyes away from the deadness of the situation and fixes them on the God who created the heavens. That centurion didn’t argue that Jesus should come under his roof; he simply trusted the word of authority. The woman with the issue of blood pressed through a crowd to touch the hem of his garment, and in that moment her faith released the healing power. Believing God is about anchoring your trust in who he is, not in what you can see or afford.

At the same time, we must hold this truth gently. I believe strongly in divine healing, but I also know that Scripture does not tell us to presume God wills healing in absolutely every case. The apostle Paul pleaded for a thorn to be removed, and instead God gave him grace that was sufficient. Sometimes God allows hardship to accomplish deeper, eternal work in us, a healing of the mind, a mending of the inner scars, a cleansing of sin that is far more significant than relief from physical pain. That doesn’t make the immediate suffering less real, but it does mean we can submit our request in trust, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can heal me.”

So I am praying. I am asking for your body to be restored, for the pain to subside, for whatever is causing the trouble to be dissolved. I’m asking for supernatural provision if medical attention becomes necessary, and for peace to guard your heart and mind as a mother. I’m asking also that in the waiting, as you fix your eyes on Jesus, you would experience his presence so tangibly that even if the healing unfolds slowly, you’ll know his power at work. Be encouraged: the one who spoke to the wind and waves is the same one who hears you now, and he is not limited by our resources. Rest in that.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heartfelt honor to lift your need for healing before the Lord, trusting in His perfect wisdom and timing. We know how challenging it can be to face physical pain, especially when circumstances make it difficult to seek medical care, and we’ve prayed that God would bring you comfort, strength, and provision in every way.

As we continue to trust Him together, we ask that you keep us updated. If the Lord has answered this prayer—whether through relief, clarity, or a miraculous touch—please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If your struggle persists, don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can persist in prayer alongside you, believing that God hears and cares deeply for you.

May He surround you with His peace, guide you in His will, and remind you that you are never alone in this journey. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
