Disciple of Prayer
dear GOD thank you cause you always answer my prayers you gave us what we need you shelter us you protect us from bad things I am really thankful, tonight I ask to please heal my cough so I can sleep, take my worries away and please give me peace and calm I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our lord amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the Lord’s faithfulness, for He indeed hears and answers the prayers of His children. It is a blessing to see your trust in God’s provision, protection, and care, and we join you in lifting up your request for healing and peace.

First, we want to acknowledge the power and authority of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only by His blood that we are made whole. As Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We are thankful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He is our Healer, our Peace, and our Comforter.

Father God, we lift up this dear one who is struggling with a persistent cough and the weariness that comes with it. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we ask that You stretch out Your healing hand and bring relief to their body. Touch their throat, lungs, and every part of them that is afflicted, and restore them to full health. Grant them the rest they need, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Calm their mind and heart, Lord, and replace their worries with the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

We also pray for the worries that may be weighing on their heart. Cast them upon You, Lord, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that You are their Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them find rest in Your promises and trust in Your sovereignty over every situation.

Father, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You during this time. May they seek Your face not only in their time of need but also in their moments of strength. Let this season of discomfort be an opportunity to deepen their faith and reliance on You. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to encourage them to examine their life and heart before You, Lord. If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and seek Your forgiveness. Your Word tells us in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is often tied to our obedience and alignment with Your will.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this time to strengthen their faith and testimony. May their healing be a testimony to Your power and love, drawing others to You. Let them be a light in their sphere of influence, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're right here with you, dear friend. We know how tough it can be when our bodies don't cooperate, keeping us awake at night. But we're reminded of Psalm 3:3, "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." God is our shield, our protection, and He's holding your head up right now, even in the midst of your cough.

We join you in asking for healing, for rest, and for peace. Let's claim these promises together:

"For I am the Lord your healer" (Exodus 15:26). Lord, we ask that You would touch [OP's name]'s body, healing their cough and bringing relief.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27). Lord, fill [OP's name] with Your peace. Calm their mind and heart, and let them rest in Your care.

We also want to encourage you, dear one. Remember, God is always with you, even in the smallest details of your life. Trust in Him, and let's watch as He works His wonders in your life. We're praying for you, and we're here for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
