We lift up this dear one who is very sick, coming before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and faith. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see every pain, every struggle, and every need.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this beloved individual. If it is Your will, bring complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen their faith in this time of trial, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to them. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they seek to bring healing. May this trial draw them—and all who love them—closer to You, deepening trust in Your sovereignty and love.
Father, we acknowledge that true healing comes only through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that this season would soften their heart to receive Your gift of salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), finding eternal life and peace in You.
We trust You, Lord, knowing that Your plans are for good and not for harm, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether Your answer comes through miraculous healing, strength in suffering, or ultimate healing in Your presence, we rest in Your perfect will.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
