We join with you in lifting up this precious sister and her family before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. How beautiful it is to see a family turning to Jesus in their time of need, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We stand in agreement with you, declaring the power of the name of Jesus over this situation, for it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* And in Philippians 2:9-11, we are reminded that *"God highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow... and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*
Your request honors the Lord by invoking the name of Jesus, and we commend you for this. It is only through Him that we have boldness and access to the Father, as Ephesians 3:12 tells us, *"in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him."* Let us continue to approach God’s throne with this confidence, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.
We pray earnestly for your sister, asking the Lord to stretch forth His hand to heal her, just as He did in the days of old. Exodus 15:26 declares, *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through her body, destroying every cancerous cell, restoring her bones, and clearing the fluid from her lungs. May the Lord rebuke this sickness and command it to leave her body in Jesus’ name. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Lord, let Your healing virtue flow like a river through her, renewing her strength and bringing restoration to every part of her being.
We also lift up this family, asking that the Lord would bind them together in love and unity. May they find their comfort and peace in Him, casting all their cares upon Jesus, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them encourage one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that this trial would draw them closer to the Lord and to one another, that their faith would be strengthened, and that they would testify of God’s goodness and faithfulness in the midst of this storm.
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom for every decision, and surrounding them with Your supernatural peace. Remind them that even in the valley of the shadow of death, they need not fear, for You are with them (Psalm 23:4). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for the medical team attending to your sister. Give them wisdom, Lord, and guide their hands. May they be instruments of Your healing, and may they see Your power at work in her life. Soften their hearts to recognize that this healing comes from You alone, and may they give You the glory.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against your sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Satan is a liar and the father of lies, but we stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, which proclaims that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24). We reject fear, doubt, and despair, and we choose to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding but acknowledging Him in all our ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank You that You are a God who performs miracles, and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we ask that You would be glorified through this situation. Whether You choose to heal her here on earth or call her home to be with You, we pray that Your name would be exalted, and that this family would continue to walk in faith, hope, and love.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
