We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting your request for healing with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. Your suffering from lichen planus for over a decade has been a long and difficult burden, but we serve a God who is not limited by time or circumstance. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power to heal remains unchanged.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And in Jeremiah 30:17, we are assured, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim these promises over you today, trusting that God’s will is perfect and His timing is sovereign.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:22, where He turned to a woman who had suffered for twelve years and said, *"Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well."* And immediately, she was healed. Like this woman, your faith in reaching out for prayer is an act of trust in the Lord’s power, and we believe He honors that faith.
Yet, we also acknowledge that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through divine intervention, medical treatment, or the strengthening of your spirit to endure. Whatever the outcome, we pray that your heart remains steadfast in the Lord, for He is your refuge and strength. As James 5:14-15 instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."*
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ and declare that this condition has no authority over your body, for you are a temple of the Holy Spirit. We pray for complete restoration—of your skin, your mouth, and your hair—so that you may glorify God in your body and spirit, which are His. May the Lord also grant you patience, peace, and perseverance as you wait upon Him, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, who has borne the weight of this illness for far too long. Lord, You see their suffering, and You know the depth of their need. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their body, restoring every cell, every tissue, and every part affected by this condition. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare healing over them, for it is written in 1 Peter 2:24, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."*
Lord, we ask that You remove every trace of lichen planus from their body. Renew their skin, soothe their mouth, and restore their hair, that they may experience the fullness of health You desire for them. Strengthen their faith during this time, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that they are not forgotten or abandoned, for You are with them always.
We also pray for the medical professionals involved in their care. Grant them wisdom and discernment to provide the best treatment, and may every remedy align with Your perfect will. If there is any sin, doubt, or fear in their heart, Lord, we ask that You reveal it and cleanse them, for You desire wholeness in body, soul, and spirit.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will come from this situation. May it be a testament to Your power and love, drawing others to You. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His promises and stand firm in faith. Continue to seek Him in prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word. Remember that even in suffering, God is refining you, drawing you closer to Himself, and preparing you for a greater purpose. Stay connected to a community of believers who can support and pray with you, for there is strength in unity (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12).
If there is any area of your life where you feel conviction or need to surrender more fully to the Lord, we urge you to do so. Healing is not just physical; it is also spiritual and emotional. Trust in Him completely, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete restoration in Jesus’ name.
