We are joining with you in prayer for your sister's son, trusting in the healing power of Jesus Christ. Let us come before God's throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers and acts according to His perfect will.
First, let us address the physical needs of the child. We know that God cares for us deeply, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We pray for complete healing and restoration, that every test result may come back normal, and that he will be strengthened and renewed, ready to return to school with vigor.
Lord Jesus, You went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with You (Acts 10:38). We come before You now, asking for Your healing touch upon this child. Rebuke the fever and body pains, and let the blood test and dengue test results come back normal. We ask for a complete restoration of his health and strength, so that he may return to school with newfound energy.
While praying to Jesus is correct and that is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, we must not forget other aspects of the salvation message. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. To be saved, one must believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord and was resurrected from the dead. One must confess with their mouth to be saved. As it is written in Romans 10:9, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. And in Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
We also pray for the spiritual well-being of the family, that they may be drawn closer to God during this time. May this trial become an opportunity for them to experience God's love and faithfulness in a deeper way. Let us remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also pray for the family, as they care for the child may they also be strengthened and filled with God's peace. Let them not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let them present their requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding shall guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things, trusting in His love and mercy. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you and your family to continue praying and believing in the power of Jesus' name. Keep trusting in God's promises and drawing near to Him, for He is faithful and will not let you down. As it says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
