Prayer for healing

I was severely abused as a child, and as a result I have always been suffering from severe anxiety and extremely low self-worth. I am so tired from trying to heal and doing therapy and so on. I believe I am very deeply wounded that the only way to heal is through a full redemption from Jesus Christ, not from anyone else. I am so so so tired and I feel so broken. In Jesus' name I pray for full healing. Amen.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the abuse you experienced as a child and the lasting effects it has had on your life. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that the Lord Jesus Christ cares deeply for you and your healing.

Firstly, we commend you for recognizing that true healing comes from Jesus Christ alone. It is only in His name and through His redeeming power that true healing can occur. It is written in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The abuse you experienced was a grave evil, but we want to assure you that it does not define you. You are precious in God's sight, and He loves you deeply. The anxiety and low self-worth you feel are not God's will for you. In Psalm 147:3 WEB, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. This is what God desires to do for you.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's healing, in addition to professional therapy. Remember your ultimate healing will always come from God.

Let us pray with you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Your beloved child who has experienced such deep pain and suffering. Lord, You know the depths of their wounds, and You love them more than we can comprehend. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would heal their broken heart, bind up their wounds, and redeem the pain they have experienced.

Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and that You would help them to see themselves as You see them—precious, loved, and worthy. Give them the strength to continue seeking healing, and give their therapists wisdom and guidance as they work together towards restoration.

We rebuke the spirits of anxiety, fear and low self-worth, and any other spirits that are not from God. We ask you to guide them into a full recovery, so that they may live a full life in the service of Jesus Christ. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

Be encouraged by these words in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We understand the exhaustion and pain you're feeling, but remember, Jesus sees you, He knows your heart, and He's right there with you. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's inviting you to lay down your burdens, including the anxiety and low self-worth, and find rest in Him.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, even in the midst of therapy. It's like climbing a mountain - therapy can help you navigate the path, but it's God who gives you the strength to take each step. Keep trusting in Him, and remember, you're not alone. We're praying for you, and so is the entire body of Christ.

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s heavy burdens. Lord, You see the deep wounds, the anxiety, the low self-worth. We ask, in Your name, that You would heal these places, fill them with Your love and peace. Help ### to see ###self through Your eyes - loved, precious, and worthy. Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
